Sera seems to know that both Conan tries to hide his identity in front of Ran and that Ran is obviously nearly clueless.

In general, I wonder if Conan will make Sera an ally and tell her his secret. Other options include killing her off (too unlikely for a recurring character), moving her back to the states forcefully (unlikely), or Sera will tell Ran, but she wouldn't believe (unlikely).

both of spouses lost their phones and one was found which became turning point of file. which means it was planned.
the fact that murder was decided to do in the company of children and agasa. it means their presence  was required.

if it was the wife ,i can't think of any advantage by making others inform of murder
as for the husband he could have used it to get out by saying to acting for defence.

2 weeks of wait and this bloody case not a good combo

What if Gosho threw Shinichi, Heiji, Amuro, Makoto, Sonoko, Ran, Kazuha, and Sera all into the same room? Chaos would undoubtedly ensue. 

On a similar note, PT and I decided it would be hilarious to put Gin, Akai, Amuro, Sera, and Yamato all in a room together.  Sera and Amuro would be the only ones talking...

As for the case, does anyone else think the husband might've goaded the wife into attacking him so he could kill her in 'self-defense'?

Assuming the Okiya= Akai theory, maybe the reason for Haibara calling him Subaru-san has to do with the statement " Don't make that kind of face. I won't let them get away."Perhaps she had heard this statement from Akai (on the premises that she has enough interactions with him and she has been put in a situation similar to something like that) and maybe she made the connection between that statement and Akai ( in my opinion, the statement is decidedly Akai-ish) and perhaps in her subconscious accepted him as a "friend"? Or maybe she kind of already guessed that Conan has some kind of reason for his unconditional trust to Okiya, and then thinks about that Akai person and could make a connection
