went out today looking for a Goodwill/Salvation Army to see if I could find any cheap things to put around the apartment to spruce up the place.

Go to the Goodwill location first, doesn't seem like it's actually there (thanks, website), so I go to the Salvation Army location. But that location also doesn't seem to be there (thanks, website), but it does put me in the vicinity of the nearby mall.

I finish my shopping trip, buying two $60 dress shirts which I will hardly wear. Not exactly a horrible story, but I feel like that was the exact opposite of what I set out to do. :I

both of those were ideas that came into my head afterward. Looking back, I think I expected too much to expect organizations that specialize in taking peoples old stuff and reselling it to be up-to-date on their sites.

This makes way too much sense.

Besides, then you lose the adventure of going out to look for the place! :P

I really have got to practice my typing. I keep making mistakes when typing that aren't even typos.

Sims 2 keeps crashing on one of my favourite households and I can't figure out why :/ The only custom content I've got running on that household works just fine in all the others.

Sigh... It's one of those days where it feels like I never went to sleep in the first place. It doesn't help that I woke up about 30 minutes before my alarm went off, either.  :|

After four months in India with large numbers of trash bags having to be stored in the room long-term because we couldn't bring ourselves to fling them into the river, I really, really hate having full trash bags sitting around. The second they're full, they go out. So you can imagine how much I did NOT appreciate returning to my flat, hauling my shopping and laundry up three flights of stairs because somebody broke the lift again, to find FIVE full trash bags sitting by an overflowing bin. I know that four of them came back before me, so did NOBODY think it might be a good idea to take them out before going to see f*cking Breaking Dawn? I had to take out almost everything because I just could not stand to have those bags sitting in the damn kitchen. The only thing I didn't take out was the overflowing bin, because it's f*cking disgusting and one of the others can take it out when they get back from their sparkly shite.

There was a windstorm yesterday and thanks to that many train stations were closed so I had to take a replacement bus, and it took me more than 2 hours to get to uni :|. I missed the only morning class I had and now I feel like I woke up early for nothing >:(
