Today's Bad Stories !

Izzie's in my Performance Skills assessment group as well as my Play and Performance one. So now half my grade is dependent on a girl who almost never turns up to class and gives awful excuses for not turning up to study groups ("I'm in hospital!" "No she isn't, I saw her going back into block H ten minutes ago.")

Those people exist, and unfortunately, the existence of those people more than occasionally negatively affect others' *Sighs*

No, the instructor has noticed. She's put anyone with "bad attendance" in the same group. Unfortunately, I count as "bad attendance" because I've missed one class (ONE!) and didn't call in to say that I wouldn't be there because I was so ill that I didn't wake up until hours later. The problem was, the day I missed was November first; I was sick over Hallowe'en, which sucked, but when I was off the next day she assumed that I was just hungover like everyone else who called in sick.

Since most of the class who live on campus have no absences, those of us who do got grouped together. That's why I'm with Izzie.

But still, try to tell her if that's the case... I mean even if she has a bad impression of you for one absence, where as Izze in question has more than just one, it wouldn't be logical to equate the two "bad impressions"... either way, talking to her would be best I think... There's the occasional *beep* but most of them are willing to listen if you try

My fever isn't down, my throat and chest hurt really really bad, and my head feels like a big block of lead. And I can't get in to see the doctor until tomorrow, and my thesis is due in three days. And on top of this, I needed my professor's signature on something and I asked if I could just run it by his house, but he wanted to meet at his office because it was "a little more convenient," so I had to walk a mile and back in the cold rain feeling like this. And THEN he wasn't in his office at the time he said and he didn't come for the entire duration of the appointment. So I wasted a bunch of time and I feel even worse than before.

I've come home and had a warm shower and cup of coffee and I still dont' feel like laughing about any of this.

May I suggest lots of water, just hug a big bottle of water and drink it constantly... I didn't like doing that, but it helps... also, sea salts if you have some, if not, table salt is okay also, mix the salt with water (2 parts water 1 parts salt) then gurgle the solution for 20 minutes (maybe 2 gulps? don't swallow, spit it out) and drips some into your nose...
Those are some tricks that kept me awake today ^^

Well, that was me last night and now I have a serious head cold And I barely had lunch because the guy I was observing was running late for most of his appointments and I'm exhausted but I need to work on mafia before I can sleep. The only thing that's good about tonight is that I might be able to talk to my bf in about 10 minutes if he wakes up.

I really don't want to call in sick tomorrow but at this rate I might have to
