I like Chekhov MacGuffin's theory of Okiya being Akai, however there's a thing that puzzles me: in chapter 666 apparently Conan tried to hide his deductive ability from Okiya, while the latter wanted to see it by letting him talk.

How can this fact be explained in the Okiya=Akai theory? Akai knows Conan's abilities very well.

I think it's probably a conflict of Okiya trying to be polite and Conan's preference to hide behind an adult when giving deductions. ^^;

Well, I think this thread became more meaningless since Sera and Amuro appeared. Before their debuts, Bourbon storyline only focused on Okiya and Scar Akai. Now it's changed the storyline of Detective Conan. More and more fans interested on Sera and Amuro more than Okiya now.

True...There is no doubt about Okiya being Akai,especially after the Akai flashback of Ai during the Domestic violence case...Now there isn't any mystery about Okiya's identity.
