Probably both. Story's getting a bit meh right now and it's not as long as other series I know of.

sometimes I should agree. after reading the last chapter, I just... "Uhh... Whut?". but it is indeed a long one. we can still count the manga that pass the 30ies volume. besides :

the story is still a long way. still another dark guild exist, raven tail exist, another gerald saga, maybe another mystgun saga, finding the dragon, etc etc

Anyway, in the latest anime episode, the scene when they were stopping the island holding the lacryma reminded me of FF7 for some reason. :V

well, I felt like it was too light-hearted, and by comedy, I mean failed attempts to make me laugh :X I like comedy, but I expected more serious parts for my shounen fighting series   It just felt kinda kiddy to me.
