Well the only Picture were the victim is looking at something is the Sunset and the Sun sets in west.
Nishino means "towards west" and the victim looking towards west indicates that Nishino is the culprit.

Kogorou, it would be such a freaking coincidence...

Each item points to a different person and it's difficult to guess which one of them really counts.
I thought about the ticket pointing to both South (South Africa) and the North (the final match's teams). Or it could be that the Spain represents South (it is more in the South than Netherlands) and the Netherlands represents North, and so the murderer is the South woman - Tomochi Minami - because the Spain won the match.

I'm overthinking it. I'm starting to wonder about who had taken the photos and where...

The newest idea - the professor was killed on SUNday night, therefore he thought of the message having something to do with the sun. That means - West or East. Maybe he saw the sunset when the culprit attacked, and realised how to create a dying message using the culprit's name with a word "West" (sunset) in it. He just so happened to have had a perfect picture in his pocket (it's a riddle-coincidence) but didn't manage to grab the right one in time. When dying, he held onto the map to indicate the riddle is about the directions. All this would mean the culprit's Fumiko Nishino.

or maybe because on some compass roses, only the North direction is actually labeled (and some maps just have a North arrow)?
