Seriously it's one of my first mangas x].  My mom told me she read it when she was little too.  The manga inspired a lot of girls she knows (her included) to get a education and become a nurse :].

anime: Haruhi (duh), One Piece (best shonen ever, best selling manga ever), Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo (random = good, random = greatness), Lucky Star (I'm an anime nerd), Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (satire :DDDD), Slayers (obviously), Naruto (yep), Dragonball (not Z or GT), Azumanga Daioh (every Haruhi/Lucky Star fan is pratically required to like it), Pokemon Season 1 (first anime ever bias?), Digimon Season 3 (best dub I saw before I cared about what a dub was), School Rumble before the ending etc.
manga: One Piece, Bobobo, School Rumble (:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD), Ai-Ren ( :DDD DDD: :DDD DDD: (EMOTIONAL)), 20th Century Boys (21st century boys was awful), Love Hina (first manga ever bias?) Black Cat (only always consistently good manga (even Conan had the CELL PHONE ARC)), Hunter X Hunter (yep), Reborn! (best shonen that isn't One Piece), XXXholic (*hasn't gotten to the awesome parts of Tsubasa yet*) etc.


So basically, I like shonen. And comedy.
