Helped Conan out by feeding him just enough info to avoid a suicidal plan. She should have told Conan that someone in the org has exceptional disguise abilities right after the bus jack when she felt Vermouth's presence. Conan might have picked out Araide faster that way and come up with something better than purposefully get kidnapped and taken to the boss. Maybe he could have allied with Jodie and the FBI earlier.

Which why I recommended just enough. I think informing Conan about the abilities of relevant BO members would have been helpful, especially if you think one might be after you. Ai doesn't have to go so far as to tell Conan the operative's identity so he tries to hunt the person down, just what they are capable of so he has some idea of the potential threat and how it might manifest.

However, in that arc she still had the 'Don't do that. It's dangerous. It's better to run away.' attitude. Therefore, I believe she refrained from feeding Conan any information, so that he remains in the dark and cannot do anything against the organisation.

Furthermore, we are talking about a huge organization. I am sure not even Haibara knows everything about them. She said before that she had heard the codenames Chianti and Korn before, but never met them in person. Perhaps she did not know if the information she always received are really valid or just rumours.

It might also be possible that she knew Vermouth, but not about her abilities. Haibara seemed not to have suspected Araide to be a disguised BO member. Otherwise, she would have said that in the bus accident and would have told Professor Agasa explicitly not to call him when she was sick.

I think the same...I don't think Ai knew about Vermouth ability for deguise...she would have said it to Conan...
