But, whatever, it's fun making things up.
You just raised the main problem here. Gosho is trying to build this Araide-like twist. The question is WHY? Why should he build a similar twist to one which he has already used? It's unoriginal.
On the solution, then exactly BECAUSE he is building the same twist, we can easilly see through it. Gosho isn't at fault for not building this twist correctly. He is at fault for reusing this twist which we are already familiar with.

Reminds one of the storyline of the Kaitou Kid Teleportation case, doesn't it?

yeah, that's what I wonder too...I don't want Gosho to use the same trick as before,it would be just boring for me...I think that Akai=Okiya but I really hope that Gosho will surprise us with something new...

I think that Okiya = Akai.
And Scarred Akai = Bourbon.

Because, why would scarred Akai show his face, if he knows it would put Kir in danger?

I believe Conan, Akai and Kir predicted that Gin would ask Kir to show her loyalty to the organization,
and go after the people that captured her.

Therefore, Bourbon is disguising as scarred Akai to:
- test whether the real Akai is alive
- test if Kir is working with the FBI
- lure out the FBI

I just watched episode 578.

When Conan heard that scarred Akai was at the bank, why was he so shocked?
Because he knows where the real Akai is.

But we'll see in the upcoming episodes.
:D

Can't wait!

Huh. That actually makes sense. I thought it was strange at first when Conan gave Okiya the keys to his house, but he could've figured out that Okiya was really Akai, and thus, gave him the keys to his house.

Yeah, the whole Akai=Okiya thing makes a whole lot of sense after reading all the theories and whatnot. And, I think, Akai's presence has triggered Haibara's senses previously as well, which would possibly explain her initial feeling when Okiya was first introduced.

Yes. If you think back to the bus jacking case.
Haibara's BO senses went off.

It is possible that Vermouth (disguised as Araide) triggered her senses.
But isn't it also possible that Akai (former BO member) triggered her "BO sense"

I think that time it was Vermouth. But something did happen in Chapter 383 (or episode 311) with Akai.

After Conan's confrontation with the BO and Haibara found him, Akai walked passed the two and Haibara had a scared look and looked back to see who it was.

Well, I think that somewhat proves that Akai gives Haibara a BO sense.

Just to add to that, Haibara flipped out when Akai drove by after the Panda case where James Black shows up.
