The 1000 heartless battle is one of my favorite parts.

I have a question (not that it affects my answer at all), but do pokemon fainting count toward the body count?

Yeah, it's not that tedious if you use the triangle button thing. It's done in like 2 minutes.

As for the poll... Gonna be safe and go 1 billion+ because I don't think I can even begin to estimate. Between KH (all of the ones I've played), the FF games I've played, Fire Emblem games, Mario games, plus all of the random ones, I'd say that's the best estimate.

At first I only calculated RPGs, shooters and that stuff, and ended up with ~8000.
In fact, it's fairly unlikely you can get past 100'000'000 with that (assuming you play 8 hours every day, for 20 years, and kill one thing every 5 seconds, it's barely 42 millions, and I kinda doubt you can manage that rate constantly).
But with strategy games considered...
I've probably managed to kill over a million, and an enthusiastic Hearts-Of-Iron-player can probably get as much as 100 billions throughout his lifetime. Space-faring games can probably get your body count up to trillions and quadrillions (destroying one planet with 10 billion inhabitants per minute will get you, with the above assumptions, 1 quadrillion every 5 years).

Yeah, Final Form is the most annoying to level up, as nobodies aren't as easy to destroy as heartless, and there's no easy way to manipulate the drive gauge except in the sorcerer's tower with the berserkers.  (By manipulate, I mean kill as much as you can before the drive gauge runs too low, then exit the world so it is fully restored.)
