Predicting Basketball is like predicting weather but whatever... Win or lose it has been fun... I still remember people saying Celtics done after 15-17 start. Saying Hawks will beat us, how bad are we against 8th seed... How we gonna be swept by Heat...

Could it actually be coming true? Although it's actually looking more like both games will end in 6.

Boston didn't even play that well tonight, the heat just played amazingly bad as a team. They could have played only James and Wade 2 vs 5 and had roughly the same result it seems. If they let Spoelstra continue on as coach, that franchise is probably doomed.

Both the Thunder and the Spurs will beat the Celtics if the Celtics make it through.

Boston didn't even play that well tonight, the heat just played amazingly bad as a team. They could have played only James and Wade 2 vs 5 and had roughly the same result it seems. If they let Spoelstra continue on as coach, that franchise is probably doomed.

That's pretty much the story of their time together so far, as I've posted in both NBA threads here from the beginning. Spoelstra is not ready to coach this team for just about every possible reason. The one good thing that can come of this is if Bosh is traded away to free up that cap room. That was my top worry for them actually winning the championship: Yes, they would have gotten a win, but it would be very, very hard to repeat while still struggling with Spoelstra and Bosh in the organization when they could do away with both (especially the latter) and make it a much easier ride.

Pretty much: If the Heat lose, there's a chance Bosh is out, and that'd be the best possible outcome.

Spo took too many shits but he isn't the only one to be blamed I'm sure 90% of Coaches in the NBA won't be an effective coach in trying to manage Big 3's ego(especially Wade's) while incorporating team play.

I think Spurs win big tomorrow but I can be wrong I think they'll take a big lead either way win or lose...

I agree entirely, although I doubt either will happen anytime soon. They need to hurry up and decide what they're going to do though - Wade is starting to get on up there in his years and once he's out I doubt they'll still be a contending franchise.

Now that, my friends, is real basketball. Great game from both teams, and I was a little worried when Parker exploded out of the gate shooting like a younger Kobe Bryant, but Durant is just an unstoppable machine night in and night out. OKC is at the top of their game.

^Not really, Spurs offense was exactly what it was the entire season and playoffs.  OKC is just really athletic and long, and defended very well.  You live with what he gives as a 34 year old guard.  He contributed enough during this series to make me happy.

If I were to put blame on any player, it's going to be Tony Parker.  If anything, he was too satisfied with the midrange jumpshot, and sometimes forgot he had teammates.

Hats off to OKC, we are looking at the future of the NBA right now.  Durant is amazing and I'm glad more superstars are adopting the modest attitude.

He had a great series, but tonight he just wasn't moving around crisply enough and that didn't work out well when he was being expected to make things happen. Parker did need to stop shooting as much though, he ended up with only decent efficiency after an insane start.

You would blame Tony Parker? Are you joking? He shot alot, sure, but other than that he had more rebounds, more points, less turnovers, and a lot more assists than Manu (who I also think played great) all while shooting close to 50% (the same percentage as Manu), so you can't blame him without blaming Manu as well. If I were to blame anyone, I'd blame the under-performing bench (especially Green and Splitter and aside from maybe Stephen Jackson) of the supposedly deepest team in the NBA. If they had stepped up like they should have, it could have been an entirely different game.

Also, I'm not sure about Popovich's decision to start Manu. I don't think that worked well at all.

I can't blame Manu - you live with his game.  He might screw up sometimes, but then you remember you got to where you are thanks to Manu's incredible play.  Spurs fans don't hate on Manu or Timmy, that's the one rule I've adopted during the past 10 years.

OKC just played damn well - I was pretty happy with how the Spurs played.  Sjax delivered, turnovers were cut down.  Shots weren't going down and it was OKC's homecourt advantage.

This was the last year for the Spurs as contenders imo, then again I had no confidence in the beginning of the season, but this was our last real attempt since 2008 when we got beat by the Lakers in the WCF.

The Spurs don't have a 1st round draft pick this upcoming draft, unless we giveup talent again like how we obtained Kawhi, which I'm all game for, not too confident for 12-13.  I'm basically okay with shopping anyone besides the Big 3 +Kawhi for a draft pick to get some young talent for our future.  Also, I hope Timmy signs on for 1-2 more years

What the league has been waiting these years from LeBron, found it in Durant; and by this I mean that OKC is going to lead the NBA from now on.
While they were crowned as conference champions, you could see how all parts that play a role in this team (players, coach, fans, etc) are working together for the same goal, and support each other. I hope they win the finals because they deserve it.

I found odd in the first minutes of the 4th QT that Duncan was reluctant to go to the basket, Manu gave him several pick and rolls and the first thing Tim did was look for someone open.
