Well, the song is stupid (and really generic), so that takes it down. It's amusingly ridiculous and hilariously over the top. However, it doesn't really convey the true nature of the show and it makes it seem like a very misleading OP. Despite being a main character, Kogoro doesn't have any slight of focus.

So all in all: 6

Also, this OP makes it seem like Haibara is the villain.

Actually, the surreal imagery was part of what made me like it. Some portions didn't work, yes, but I'm a big fan of surreal imagery and I guess I sort of respected that they took a chance.

Anyway, they should have an opening again like the one that was practically a story but instead of the DB looking for Kogoro, it's actually a murder. Then near the end the culprit drives off and they give chase, giving a chance for us to see the other characters going like "Wha? A car?" Then Conan knocks the guy out with a soccer ball

Bwahahahhaha! I tried to look at it as if I knew nothing of DC, what came to mind was a futuristic mecha series with a hint of shouta (and possibly) loliconness. Also evil gothloli. And it is most likely really weird at that :I Giving it a four.

The song and the sequence are both pretty nondescript. Not the worst thing ever, but sort of meh. I voted 4.

They managed to make the idea of an inflatable soccer ball even more ridiculous than it already is O_O. Here I was laughing on how the ball was used in the latest movie, and then I see this. Oookaay.

I do like that wall of text though. Conan is hindered by lies from being reunited with Ran, then Heiji comes to break the wall down. In the end, Heiji is the real hero :p
