Since I'm not fond of the term "Grammar Nazi", I'm trying to actively promote "Grammar Roman" as a replacement. I'd rather be compared to a Monty Python sketch than a genocidal fckwit.

There was no hyping involved. It was "Romans, go home ('Romanes eunt doma' is what he wrote originally iirc)

But what does hype mean??? I'm not english, and I see this term a lot in this forum(especially used by Jd-). I searched it on the google translator, but the translation made no sense. Can someone help me please?

To cause hype is to stir up mega-excitement. To hype about something is to be extremely excited about it and to cause excitement in others. Hype is extreme excitement. Jd-'s full-time occupation is causing hype for the movies, ie making people extremely excited about the upcoming annual movie.

Today's creepy story: Those masks we found in the Studio 5 cupboard. DEAR LORD, THOSE MASKS WITH THE BLANK STARING EYEHOLES AND THE NO FEATURES AND ARE THEY SLENDERMAN OR WHAT OH GOD MAKE THEM STOP STARING AT MEEEEEEEEE!

Yes... it was x/p/o/n. Such an evil word that the forum blanks it out if written properly.
