To pardon the player, the cost is to allocate +50 tokens to a player of their choice. Anyone that has posted in the official topic or the "unofficial" topic is considered a valid target for the +50 tokens aside from myself, xpon, and the mayor themselves.

Is there any special reason for this?
Cause, you know, one might consider this ruling "unfair". Or even cheating

BTW, did I get that right? The volunteer rule did only matter for the first 20, while the mayor role applies to anyone who has posted in either of both topics, e.g. c-square as well?

There are parts of the game I cannot participate in for reasons that will become clear. If I were altogether out of the game, I wouldn't be an actual participant.

Every role affects a different group of participants. All of the first twenty are possible targets here on account of having posted to begin with.

Right. So.........the way I see it, no matter what I do, this decision can backfire at me later on. While pardoning someone out of the game might not seem like much, giving 50 tokens to someone might seem like I want that person to win, which may look like I don't like that person.

I didn't get any PMs asking for a pardon. I did get however a PM asking for 50 tokens. While I appriciate the bravery, I have decided to decline this.

Read the rules under the Mayor role:

The pardoned player must be eligible for the pardoning by [b]having posted in the official or unofficial lottery topics.[/b]

Being a participant in the game is not enough to be a valid target for this proposition.
