I was driving back from Edinburgh with my dad and we were stuck in a traffic jam and bored. We were listening to the radio (don't ask me what station, or even what program; whatever my mom was listening to last time she had the car) and my dad phoned in to the chat on slang and colloquialisms with the comment that "the verbal tic "quality" should really be eradicated in people who habitually drink Buckfast. "That's quality, like, man." No, it's not, it's sickly blue SHITE!"

Dad, you are awesome. And right.

^ I did that to with several programs, because I wanted a totally different voice (in Conan's bow tie style  8-)) but I only got an alien, creepy child and a pedo :( well I guess they were somehow funny :L

me and my sister often buy these chocolates that have a picture of animals to collect in them .. when we were kids we collected those pics but today you just don't know what to do with them (they're too cute to throw them away but the chocolate is really cheap so we often buy them) .. and so we started this game that we have to put the pics somewhere around us, where other people will later find them and proly throw them away .. and today while eating the chocolate there was a big mouse-mascot walking in front of us and it had these huge pants on it! and working in a team, we managed to put one of the pics into that pants :D yaay, that was so awesome! running away and laughing like 5-yearolds might have given us away; I didn't look back, it was pretty crowded and scary XD !! it sounds stupid but it was still stupid so cool  8-)

an alien, a creepy kid and a pedo?

sounds like the plot for an anime.  :-X

hmmm! i was actually searching for this program to dub DC episodes for fun but these voices were more or less inappropriate for it so I guess I have no other choice in my program-dubbing career >=) but I'm not doing the pedo voice.  :-X

Discovered that my little brother and one of my cousins can be distracted for up to four hours by a squeaky toy marketed for newborns (perhaps longer, but they got hungry). They're both 16.

Re: Today's Awesome Stories

Yesterday's awesome story: We invited my dad's relatives over so I could say bye before I leave for five months (my mom's relatives live in the USA and only see me every other year or so as it is, so seeing them is both impractical and unnecessary), and they spent the entire time drinking and watching rugby. So my dad reprised his role of "bratty little brother" and filchd their wallets from their coats, coming up with a little over £100 of travel money for me. (My dad is forty-seven.)

Today's awesome story: I went up to the Palace to buy some tourist tat from the gift shop to give to my India contacts. The woman working there remebered when I was a tour guide for the Palace- FIVE YEARS AGO- and gave me my employee discount XD

Was recruiting for lab ratspatients for our clinic today and went around orientation week crowd on a space hopper. It was awesome even though I only got to do it for 15 minutes. Unsurprisingly, most people were more interested in the space hopper than the clinic's services XD
