In Primary 1, I had a Mrs Cook... she said her name came from what happened to children who misbehaved in her class  :-X

I don't think she liked teaching four- to five-year-olds.

Our new tech guy's name is Mr. Love, and so we make jokes such as 'Mr. Love has no love.'

I also had a teacher in the 3rd grade named Ms. Hamm. I blame her for my shrinking violet-ness.

Anyways, today, I was feeling a bit stressed in the hallway at school this morning, so, while walking to my class this random girl came up to me and hugged me... and patted my head. :|

And I don't even know her! Scared the shit outta me!

Ms. Martone.  5th grade.

M sMart one.

I think she pointed that out to us, though.

I went to Ruby Tuesdays to eat with my mom and my brother- afterwords deciding to visit a park and relax a little. We left the food laying out on the picnic table (covered and protected, of course) and when we came back there was a single squirrel there. We shoo'ed him off and then he went and relived himself on the table right next to our food.  :P After which he returned to the trees.
.... And we thought it was over.
We were horribly horribly wrong.
Oh no. Instead this squirrel had to carry it on further because when we threw the food away we looked up at a tree and saw him starring at us. We didn't think much of it.
Then another one peeked it's head through that tree.
Then another.
And another.
And then they started coming down from the next tree, repeating the process until almost every tree surrounding us had 3-6 squirrels sitting there, glaring at us.
We just sat there and stood back, amazed at how truly intelligent they are...
and then they went back up in the trees.
And THAT is why I will now REFUSE to feed a squirrel. XD

I am finding some bizarre t-shirts that I'd forgotten I had while going through my drawers. I think the prize goes to the shirt featuring the cow in sunglasses for no apparent reason. Is it from Braums?

Today when I was waiting for the train a woman approached me and asked me for money in some language I didn't understand and when I showed her I didn't have any money she called me "putala" or "putanga" (not sure of which of the 2) XD

This happend last night, but still..

So this guy was pumping gas in the car, so I said 'hey look! Theyre makin' out!' And made the 2 dollars act like they were kissing. Then he goes 'thats not funny, I have gay friends' and I still don't understand how it was offensive. I have gay friends who would've laughed. :p

Maybe he was referring to the faces on the dollars and thought you were making THEM make out? (Depends on where you live.)

But I agree. I would have laughed my butt off and I've got a couple of friends that are gay. :P

I just noticed the new title of the Offtopic area. Bizarre.

Also, the flat next door has a guy from Lithuania. He speaks amazing english with just a hint of an accent, but didn't know what a plate was. I mean, he knew what it was when someone picked one up, but had apparently never heard the word "plate" before.

Lithuania may not be quite advanced as GB, but they do know what plates are :P
