How fluent is fluent enough?  Enough to get by with relative ease in said country, or enough that you could be mistaken for a native?

My idea of fluent is actually something between the two. Not be mistaken for a native, but at least to be able to hold a conversation in the language.

I could say three with the Japanese knowledge I have. But mainly I know Spanish and English. I'm a native English speaker, but my friend taught me Spanish when I was younger so I'm pretty fluent in it. ^^

Until there is an article in wiki called "xponese" where it says that this is a language, the answer is NO  :P

2 fluently and I know some German. I am thinking about starting to relearn it but I always forget.

Just one fluently, but I'm okay in French and could probably hold a simple conversation or understand most of what they say or figure it out based on what I do know.  I know a tiny amount of Spanish, but not nearly enough to count as even "understanding" it.
