It does look bad my dad once made me get it that short since my hair grows really fast, but within a month it got to a normal size. my dad has to have his hair that short since he is in the navy.

I just got mine cut short for charity. REALLY short. As in it used to be two feet long; now It's approximately the length of Sato's. But I would NEVER buzz, and I'm sure as hell not joining the army.
