For those that may or may not know that my website, DetectiveShinichi.com, has been undergoing a major construction and facelift; this is the reason why I've hardly updated the current website with new news. The new DetectiveShinichi.com will be using a different CMS (Content Management System) than it currently uses now. The new CMS that DS will be using will be Joomla, which will give DS more features, be more professional, organized, more secured, etc. The current DS website uses the Wordpress CMS, which is more built specifically for blogs. So the new DS website will be launching in a couple weeks, and I'll be posting some screenshots of the new site sometime this Friday or Saturday.

Here's a list of new BIG features that the new DS will be having:

• 1. More Anime/Manga News - DetectiveShinichi.com will be expanding its horizon into more anime/manga series' in order to keep the website more updated and more fresh with new news.
• 2. VideoVault - VideoVault is an XML/Flash based sub site that will contain every single episode, OVAs, Live-Action and Films of Detective Conan. VideoVault may carry other animes in the near future. This feature will be launching sometime later next month and few weeks after the new site launches
• 3. Manga Reader -  The Manga Reader will be containing every single chapters of both Detective Conan and Magic Kaito, with hopefully some other manga series' in the future. This feature will launch sometime later this year.
• 4. DS Community - DS Communtiy is a Facebook-type social network for all those that are Detective Conan fans and other anime/manga fans. With DS Community, you can register or login with your Facebook account (if you have one). There will be quite a bit of applications to choose from to install onto your DS Community Profile.
• 5. Login with the same account anywhere on DS - Unlike the current DS site where you would have two different account on the general site and on the current forum, on the new DS site, whether you log into either the DS Community, the Forum, or the site in general, you'll be able to login with the same account/profile throughout the entire site. Your main account/profile will be your DS Community Profile.

I liked the old design anyway, but this one is really good too, you must have worked hard for it
