I'm very interested in this as long as it isn't one of those sites where none of the videos work thanks to my stupid computer.

Especially since I will never be able to afford the boxsets for more than one anime series at a time.

I totally agree.

I doubt that Funi is that stupid.

I just figured it was the case when I saw "powered by funimation in the corner"  Hopefully I am wrong and they are smart about it.

ya also I am sorry but are their a good/great conan dubs for any language, because I know the Latin American dub was worse then fun's dub. and if you  watch any other episode besides the okasa (good dub, bad cut) and clock episodes.

I've heard very good things about the German version and the one that Jd did episode 219 for (was shown on DCTV once) was great (I believe Polish?)

also I don't think Case Closed is bad (very disappointing but not bad at all) but apparently Khinkun does so that's why I said that.

My guess is that the site's videos will just link back to Funimaton.

None of the videos on that site work so I hope you are wrong too.

The CC dub wasn't that bad.  It wasn't OMG MANGLED TO KINGDOM COME THOSE BASTARDS, but it was basically pretty average to mediocre compared to a lot of Funi's other dubs (their dub of FMA and redub of One Piece are amazing).  The German dub fluctuates in quality though.  They've dubbed over a lot of the openings and endings pretty well, but the company that broadcasts the show in Germany apparently make a lot of cuts and edits to episodes that annoy the German DC fanbase quite a bit.

Besides, it's good that Funi is streaming episodes of FMA Brotherhood, One Piece, etc. now since it shows a consideration for the concerns of fans, though I wonder how they'll handle their DVD problem.  I barely ever keep up with anime anymore, but from what I can tell the industry's been in strong decline for a while.

22.4 billion dollars in 2008 = decline?

I admit I don't know where I found this number. I remember seeing this number at multiple places (like AnimeNewsNetwork for example) so I doubt it's a lie.
