What video games are you currently playing?

If you have some randomness to share that you can't post elsewhere, this is the place to do it.

You're a scout! Me too! 8D

And I think the green nation and the yellow nation are best for beginners. ^^ The people there are nicer imo. And oh, I'm in the green nation. ^^

A friend of mine and me once had the idea of an MMORPG without any NPCs. Consequently, their jobs, like bow-making, woodcutting and fishing had to be one by PCs, and we thought to create a medieval fantasy world, with everything from cities to swamps only inhabited by PCs. Of course, only a very small part of the players should be fighters (probably less than 10%) while everyone else specialises in on type of activity (the afore-mentioned bow-making, for example). We thought about introducing some Sims-like stats like hunger and tiredness along with MP a HP. To make it interesting for the non-fighters, we thought bout using a skill-system that has perhaps ~1000 skills per job, each of them enhancing your product, which will be randomly discovered by simply making a bow often (although we thought about using an "experiment-mode" as well). This will make someone with many skills an master bow-maker, who is likely to have a very good reputation (because his bows are better than those of a novice) and should therefore get many, many jobs, probably more he can handle. This will force him to take an apprentice who can sell his bow or buy the necessary wood. In exchange, the master will teach his apprentice his skills etc., simulating the real-world system throughout the middle ages. However, of course, the master has to be careful with whom he teaches his secret skills (we thought that only perhaps ~200 skills could be discovered in reasonable time), so one master bow-maker may send his apprentice to work as an apprentice for another master to discover his secrets etc., making it interesting to play for non-fighter as well.
Also, to avoid the fighters dominating everything by force, and perhaps simply killing weaker players (as we intended to use a dead-is-dead system, where resurrection is extremely difficult and expensive, but possible for highest-rank magicians), we thought about introducing a conscience, which will give a player a more-or-less permanent penalty on certain stats like strength etc. - which will finally make a player as weak a newbie if h overdoes it.
But well, this was only an idea...
If  ;), :D, ;D, ::), :P, :-X, :o or >:D are attached, that paragraph may not be 100% serious. Seriously.

I think it sounds intersting but I wouldn't play since I avoid MMORPGs as the plauge since I so easily get addicted.
