My dog used to steal cookies. If you managed to rescue from her, the moment you sat down she'd plop her head on your lap and look up at you with such huge, brown, adorable puppy eyes that you'd end up giving her the cookie anyway.

This is the cookie-related story of why my English teacher, Miss B, wins all.

We had a prelim. All day Friday analyzing poems and prose. Yay[/sarcasm]. But when we came out, in the middle of the afternoon, having felt like we'd wasted our free afternoon, what did we find but our classroom festooned with bowls of cookies? And not just any cookies... The Tesco supersize cookies that are almost the size of your head, in milk chocolate, double-chocolate and white chocolate variety. And there was much rejoicing.

Even better, the one girl who didn't show up that day then texted a boy in my class to ask what the questions had been like. He called her back... and handed the phone to Miss B before the girl picked up. On speakerphone.

Classmate: "So what were the questions like?"
Miss B: "You'll find out when you do the prelim on Monday, won't you?"

We yielded the last double-chocolate cookie to her ♥

My Basic Algebra teacher once did this (junk foods instead of cookies) , and we partied during her class... But that was before Christmas vacation.
