Me neither!
If you don't know what to say, read, and practice a bit before recording yourself :)
RM'd: it's still the same continent Aqua...

OMM: I finally have a new phone! I'm slightly bummed that the screen is so big.
Also, I'm worried about British fashion, I went shopping today, and I had a hard time not laughing out loud in the shops, I also want to cry, because I'm not sure how I'm ever going to be able to buy clothes. The fashion is getting more and more ridiculous...

Oh yeah that episode...:X It was a really weird one. That episode and the Espurr episode were probably the creepiest episodes I've ever seen, Pokemon wise. :X Although...
Spoiler: More about the Espurr ep (if anyone cares)
the latter's ending was actually pretty sad, and Espurr's actually pretty cute. :3
OMM: So it turns out my class got there early enough that my professor thought we were the class that came in before hers. She also had it in her mind that class started at 12:30, not 12 ^^;

I wonder if this was the first actual evil wild non-legendary Pokemon in the series. It really did feel creepy that there was such a Pokemon out there who wishes to control the world on his own accords.
It reminded me that back in the original series, Koffing and Ekans said that Pokemon aren't evil, they just do evil things if their masters tell them to. So much for that philosophy Koffing and Ekans.

Nemo, please tell us abiut your journey to Belarus! I would like to hear it as I am Russian and close to them))
No, I'm French and I live in the UK, but, geographically speaking, Europe and ASIA are mostly connected. You being Russian doesn't prevent you from recording yourself if you want to. Yuri and I did it, and we're not native English speakers :)

As for my phone, it's... a motorola E, which will fit in most of my pockets, because if I want a computer, I have one, which can also be used as a TV, without having to squint to see the characters. :) I don't do much with my phones, usually a bit of facebook, the occasional google search, checking emails when I'm not with my computer, and send texts and call.
How do you make a private phone call with a phone that big anyway? How do you take a sneaky picture of horrid clothes in shops with it?

True, I do go to the UK almost every year, but I'm guessing I only sound the way I do due to watching HP a lot. Listening to Doctor Who audio dramas a lot also really helped.

You learn to speak by imitating the people around you--that's how you develop an accent, and why your accent can change if you spend a lot of time abroad. It's no different for learning a second language. I remember talking to a shopkeeper in Darjeeling who had an extremely heavy Texan accent when speaking English, because he'd learned English while spending a year living in Texas on a school exchange. If, while learning English, you're primarily exposing yourself to British media like Harry Potter and Doctor Who, rather than American movies, you'd easily develop a British accent instead of an American one XD Accents are funny things.

Yeah, possibly. I think I started watching the English movies in the first place because I had my first English classes. Either way, Dutch schools teach UK English, so we push our students that way eventually.

I had two north american teachers in secondary school, and that + ALL th american shows I was watching by late high-school, I had a light american accent when I was awkwardly speaking english back then. Then I spent 9 months in Geordie Land and had flatmates from Leeds...

For all the Israeli websites dedicated to nostalgia and for shows that aired here 15-30 years ago, how come there are zero records for Oyayubi Hime Monogatari ever airing here? I'm positively sure it at least got one rerun, but barely anyone seems to remember it.

Something more relevant (though not really) I kinda thought Disney gave up on TV shows and sequels for their successful movies, but I guess I was wrong http://blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/20 ... ocialmedia|||

I really wanted to watch the old Toei Animation films, and while I did like their Swan Lake adaptation, I can't get into their old films. Like, I know a movie is only a commitment for about 75 minutes, but if the film loses me after 15 minutes, well...
At the very least, I'll try to watch 2 more of their films that I'm somewhat interested in. If those lose me as well, I guess I'll just have to stop with my Miyazaki break and move on.

Speaking of which Future Boy Conan is considered a Miyazaki work, right? Is it worth watching? What is it even about?
The story begins in July 2008, during a time when humankind is faced with the threat of extinction...
Welp, this will be hard to take seriously now...

I've watched Future Boy Conan. The second half is a blur to me though. I think I just stopped following the story. :x
