I believe you'll have to tell us first what it really is before the heated match-up :P
I don't think that's a real word actually. In one of the english lessons, our teacher wrote on the board the longest word in english (which was known to her) and it was 26 letters (if I recall correctly) and that word was a disease of some sort. Unless this word is what I recall but then there is no way that my teacher could write it on the board
Is it pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?
yeah, since it's really a disease so it's probably what she wrote, but given the fact that it's 45 letters...I don't think a classroom board is enough to write it, but I probably don't remember correctly and it was that thing after all.

I was told that it's the official longest word.
Btw, I'll always remember that word because it's the last item on our Spelling Bee last week.

Yup yup <3. But you didn't automatically read that because the first and last letter were in place :P. If I recall its a disease of the lungs caused by volcano ash

but with the same logic I can say that I couldn't read it, because I didn't know the original word so there was no way for me to actually read it

And that's why the "first and last letter" stuff doesn't work :P
But I believe that it's logical and has scientific sense in itself
It does happen in skimming; sometimes, you don't notice minor typos 'coz of this
(But it doesn't really mean that Kor is a genius; he's just someone who knows English like most of us :P)

Extra. Try: enmaxotmicnoimun
Can you guess this in one go?
Excommunication? I added one "m" to make it senseless XP

YES! Someone gets it! Thank you. There are limits on it! The people at Cambridge are smart blokes, I'm sure they addressed this in their dissertation [or however they published their results].

Also it doesn't work if you add a letter. The point is to keep the first and last letter and scramble all the letters in the middle. <3

If anyone wishes to try here: http://www.lerfjhax.com/scrambler . That does it for you.

BUT in honor of Conan... Here: aootppiss

or easier: aioxtpon
Spoiler:
Its apoptosis. The basis of Apotoxin 4869 [aka aptx4869] which is the answer to the 2nd one [without the numbers since that would give it away]
All this has given me an idea for a fun game... I'll work on the details when I have time... So we'll see how long it takes me to make the post.

Actually, when I first read what skyvenger wrote, the word excommunication came to my mind, but that may be only because I am not familiar with many long words in english so I thought of something I did know, and seems like I was correct. I didn't go through every letter so I didn't notice the extra M.

Might have been longer if not for that Conan clue...

And here I am saying that I can skim thru those kinds of word errors. Phail :P
