Re: It is TOO HOT!!!
We had about 34°C the last week. So over 90F. And of course, no air conditioner or any cooling device. When I went to buy food, I just died in the bus.

Yeah I know what that's like, I'm tired of them asking if I wasn't cold and stuff like that...Penguinfan wrote:Because of this all my friends who are used to it always being 90+ think im crazy wearing jeans and a t-shirt in the middle of winter lol.
IF I WAS COLD I'D BE WEARING MORE, WOULDN'T I?!

Yeah, buses are the worst with temperatures like those. Fortunately though, some of the buses around here have AC, so I just wait for one of those.Sere wrote:We had about 34°C the last week. If you're living in a tropical country like mine then you would experience that every week at most.

I lived in Vietnam for like a year,South of Vietnam, and yes, it was quite hot, but if I have to compare the hot there and the hot here, I guess it's like two different feelings, sure the temperature over there is really higher, here though, the hot air is just accumulate in your car and your house and when you open the door it's like Bwahha in the face.... there since it's easier to just open doors and windows, the hot air can just circulate, making it and easier hot temperature... in my opinion... ^_^bluekaitou1412 wrote: If you're living in a tropical country like mine then you would experience that every week at most.

It's different for the body being used to it, or being exposed to it quite suddenly.bluekaitou1412 wrote: If you're living in a tropical country like mine then you would experience that every week at most.

I think I see the problem here. You're living in an oven.Obscure wrote: It is too hot , where i live if i go outside for 20 minutes , im grilled , and when im swimming in the pool , im fried . exactly like an oven . it seriously get over 50 celsius , which is over 122F ! i even kind-off got a sunburn this summer , staying outside for 4 hours is NOT a good idea ! espacilly when its around 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m .
Also, the mention of cars is another reason dislike heat more, going into a car and everything being hot to the touch is annoying.

Yeah, I loved it too!miakakiri wrote: Ponyo was AWESOME!!! So cute!!! *^_^* The dub is actually quite good, though I am looking forward to getting the DVD so I can see what the actual Japanese was. I was REALLY glad that I got the chance to go see Ponyo in the theater, even if it meant a half-hour drive to do so.
I was on vacation here!miakakiri wrote: Mid-50s F isn't really that cold....spring/fall weather. Comfortable, though you might want long sleeves or a jacket. I wouldn't consider that cold.... what part of the world are you in?

Re: It is TOO HOT!!!
I would have to agree with you on that, about staying out in the sun too long. I attended my littlest brother's graduation in June, outside without any cover from about 10am to 1pm, and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. I actually had sunscreen on (learned that lesson 2 years prior at 2nd brother's graduation, which I didn't realize would be outside without a tent) but my sunscreen was expired, so it did nothing! I had my shoulders covered, so that wasn't an issue...but the shirt I was wearing was rather low-cut.....badly sunburned breasts are NO FUN. My arms were pretty burned too, but that didn't bother me as much. Took about a week or so for my breasts to heal from the sunburn enough to feel normal again. Now I have freckles on my breasts because I burned them so badly....Obscure wrote: It is too hot , where i live if i go outside for 20 minutes , im grilled , and when im swimming in the pool , im fried . exactly like an oven . it seriously get over 50 celsius , which is over 122F ! i even kind-off got a sunburn this summer , staying outside for 4 hours is NOT a good idea ! espacilly when its around 1:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m .
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

I wasn't aware freckles could be caused by burns, huh.miakakiri wrote: Now I have freckles on my breasts because I burned them so badly....
wait, so is this an oven that you have in the oven that you live in? Seems like overkill imo. But yes, rainbow cupcakes are always a good time.Obscure wrote:- Thanks for telling me what the problem is , i just baked some cupcakes in The Oven want some?! they're even rainbow cupcakes .Akonyl wrote:

Re: It is TOO HOT!!!
My brother went out to the lake with some friends from noon to 5p.m......lets just say he had such a bad sunburn he actually had yellow liquid coming out of the boils on his shoulder. Now when he goes out somewhere I always ask him if he's wearing sunscreen just to bug him
