After finding the Captain dead through our flight, Hattori-kun was able to pinpoint the killer, the head attendant.
Fortunately, the co-pilot, with Conan-kun's help, was able to land the plane with no issues.
Now we are in Fukuoka, the capital of the Fukuoka Prefecture, and we can begin looking into two mysteries that have led us here.
The first... what is with the cryptic clues my old friend has been sending me... and the seocnd... what mysteries lie with the suspicious Shinichi of the South?

Kudou Shinichi and his friends arrive at their hotel, but the mysterious 'Kudou Shinichi' of Fukuoka is worrisome.
Indeed, with the interests of the Black Organization reaching every corner of the country, it is left to little doubt whether or not they will be involved, or are already.
Will Shinichi be able to protect his friends and solve this mystery?

Mitsuhiko was slumped into the chair. He wanted to go to the hot springs too. But he guessed it might not be so appropiate after all... He let out a sigh
Ah, Mitsuhiko-kun, cheer up. Fukuoka is full of opportunities, not the least of which is its natural beauty.
"Hot springs... Kind of hard to imagine relaxing.." He whispered under his break
"Ah. True." He put on a little smile. "There is still the beach. Ayumi-chan seemed really excited about that."

Heiji ran through the door looking for Kudo. Of course he probably beat everyone, that little tard

* Ayumi frowns at the badge and pulls out her phone to call Conan
Runs up the stairs to see the others
* Ayumi is still rushing along the 3rd floor, far ahead of the others.
[This floor is populated mostly by restaurants, with one end a large food court.]
C'mon, Conan-kun, pick up!
Heiji passed the others on his way up since he is much cooler and faster
* Ayumi heads for the food court, because that's the easiest place to meet people
"Hey! Heiji-san. Wait for us!"
* ProfessorAgasa gets out of the elevator.
Ah... where is everyone?
* Ayumi has called Conan on the cell phone....and is waiting for him to answer it.
* ProfessorAgasa glances at his watch. 5:21.
Heiji looks around for Kudo
* EdogawaConan five steps ahead of everyone, it seems; his phone is off too.
* ProfessorAgasa walks out to one of the food court's tables and sits down, looking for the group.
He figures he went to an end of the floor and goes there
*dashes around a corner and into a crowded group, squeezing through, having seen Hakase*
* Ayumi frowns at the phone when it goes to voicemail, and puts it away
* ProfessorAgasa waits five minutes and checks his watch. 5:26.
* Ayumi is irritated that Conan isn't answering.
Heiji spots Hakase and walks over. still looking around
* ProfessorAgasa sighs and leans on the table.
* Ayumi is poking around the food court, looking for anything that might be connected to the case...or looking for Conan or Heiji
The kids are going to get lost...
*mostly interested in finding Conan
At least they have the badges. Shinichi can find them with the glasses...
Ne, Hakase, did you bring it with you? *has hidden behind Agasa, his back against the chair, the reflection of light off his glasses hiding his eyes*
"Nee-chan is with them, right? They'll be fine."
Ah! Conan-kun, you startled me.
The note? Yes...
* Ayumi decides to go back to Hakase, since she's too small to see
* ProfessorAgasa hands Shinichi the note.
* Ayumi spots Hakase, and Heiji next to him, and heads over
'Kudo..' he grumbled
* ProfessorAgasa checks his watch. 5:28.
* Ayumi is all by herself...

* ProfessorAgasa whispers, "Shinichi-kun, you'd better hurry. One minute until our suspected time for them to arrive."
*takes the note, looking it over, checking to make sure his guess was right, then folds the note and puts it in his pocket and dashes off again, weaving through the populace of the court and out of sight*
* Ayumi finds Hakase

Oh, there you are Ayumi-kun.
I can't see anything...there's too many people...

"Oi!" He chases after conan into the crowd.

"Huh?" Mitsuhiko wasn't sure where he was. He was in one of the resturant's at a table
"Oi, you should have stayed with Hakase."

"Ah! That's my cue..." Mitsuhiko made his way to the garage. Maybe that's where they would be...
He almost got killed by the bomb...
*catches Hakase before he can go far* Oi, Hakase... let me handle this, alright? Distract the others somehow, would you?
* Ayumi is still keeping up with Heiji on their way to the garage

* ProfessorAgasa rides down the elevator directly into the garage.

* Ayumi is running through, looking for the 5th row
"But hakase.."
Garages are shady places, especially in this crowded mall!

Last time, on Detective Conan, our eponymous main character was our to track down the sinister Black Organization.
Of course, with the Detective Boys and Ran around, things are getting more dangerous by the minute.
This was made even worse by the fact that Ayumi is now in the line of danger!
Will everyone make it out of this clash with darkness alright?
[Cue scene]
* Ayumi arrives at the 30th spot in the 5th row, looking around
* ProfessorAgasa storms out of the elevator, exhausted.
"Oi!" Heiji tried to catch up with Ayumi. "This is dangerous."
* Ayumi evades Heiji-oniisan
Heiji sighed and frantically looked around. He hoped Kudo would come anhy second.
* Ayumi makes a shushing gesture
*whispering* What if Conan-kun's in trouble?
* Ayumi stays in the spot, certain that this is the right place
"Then you let us handle it rather than a child running in head first. Don't you remember what happened in that cave? Conan was in critical condition after being shot." He harshly whispered
*remembers, though she's not sure how Heiji knows about it* Um...
But what if he needs help?
* Vodka slides open the van door behind Heiji quietly and pulls out a bat.
KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
* Vodka hits him over the head.
"I suppose since I'm here it isn't as bad... But what- OI!"
* Ayumi spots Vodka and tries to alert Heiji
Get the girl!
Heiji falls to the ground with a thud.
* Gin slams open his van's door.
* Ayumi spins around and tryes to run away
* Gin grips her right arm and jerks her back.
Trying to get away, tantei-chan?
* ProfessorAgasa glances left and right in the parking garage.
What was that sound?
KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Where did Ayumi-kun go?!
* Ayumi tries to break free
* Ayumi is still yelling at the top of her lungs
* Gin puts a hand over her mouth and drags her into a van.

Right, Aniki.
Ayumi-chan! *darts off toward the sound*
* Vodka pulls Hattori's unconscious body into the van.
Mitsuhiko who was very much out of break reached the garage. He heard tires screeching echo through the garage
* ProfessorAgasa runs after Conan.
* Vodka is in the van.
Vermouth! Drive!
* Ayumi is still struggling, trying to break free, but of course not having much sucess
* Ayumi resolves to get Ran to teach her some karate
* Gin reaches to the front and tears open a package.
* Gin puts a chloroform cloth to Ayumi's face.
* EdogawaConan spots the moving black van and veers to follow it
Mitsuhiko ran for the parking spot and didn't know what to do or what was going on.
* Ayumi blacks out
* Gin closes the van door.
Chianti, hit the gas.
NOW!
"Ha.. Hakase? Conan-kun? What happened? Where are Ayumi-chan and Heiji-san?" Mitsuhiko asked. They were a ways off where he was standing
* ProfessorAgasa pants.
Conan-kun got ahead of me...
I'm not fast enough to keep up...
Ayumi-kun screamed! I warned her...
Oh no...
* EdogawaConan flips on the tracking glasses, trying to find where everyone is
* ProfessorAgasa has a look of horror on his face.
"What? What did I miss?!" He grabbed Hakase's pant leg.
* EdogawaConan curses as he realizes that Ayumi is in the moving black van
* Gin is sitting in the back seat and notices the badge, tearing it off Ayumi's shirt.
Maybe this tantei-chan was better equiped than I thought...
Ayumi-kun... I don't know what's happened!
* Gin looks closely at it.
* Gin grits his teeth.
* EdogawaConan hops on his skateboard and powers it up, preparing to chase one of the vans
"Those tire screeches... Hakase.. They weren't. Were they?" He looked up at him worried
*passing Hakase* They grabbed Ayumi-chan!
* Gin turns his expression to a smile and inserts a piece of plastic, temporarily cutting off power to the badge, making it untrackable and unusable.
Oh-- Oh no!
* ProfessorAgasa gets a new wind and sprints after Conan.
* EdogawaConan continues pursuing the van, knowing that Ayumi is there even if the signal is cut off
His eyes widened. tears threatened to come. "But... HOW?! CONAN-KUN!!" he screamed after him. He couldn't run anymore.
* EdogawaConan is moving at full speed on the turbo skateboard
* Vodka has Vermouth veer off in a different direction.
* Gin moves out onto a one-lane street.
* EdogawaConan follows the van that the tracker was in
Give me the wheel!
* Gin grabs the wheel and holds it in place as Chianti moves out.
* EdogawaConan tries to speed up so he can catch the van carrying Ayumi
* Gin suddenly comes to a break-neck stop with Conan following at full speed.
* EdogawaConan is cursing in his head, wondering how the heck Ayumi managed to get into this mess
* EdogawaConan swerves, trying not to crash into the van, and then rolls off the skateboard and back to his feet
* Gin accelerates again, pulling away.
* Gin flicks his cigerette out the window.
* EdogawaConan is now on the side of the road, staring after the vans, cursing under his breath
* ProfessorAgasa pads out of the building.
And now I have no way to follow them....*dark look*
Haibra had a real bad feeling. She had atleast excpected a "cal" from Yoshida-san saying they had found a new clue excitedly. But... There was no notice of any kind. "Kudo-kun. What happened?" She whispered silently, hugging herself
* EdogawaConan trudges back to Hakase, dark look telling everything.
*lost somewhere in the building*

Conan-kun...
No good.
They got away...
Mitsuhiko trudged up to them. "Ayumi-chan and Heiji-san were kidnapped? Why? I.. I don't understand.."
Ayumi-chan is in one of those vans...
* ProfessorAgasa blank look of horror.
I think they got Hattori too, but I'm not sure.
And the badge stopped working, so I can't track her.
* EdogawaConan curses softly.
* ProfessorAgasa pulls out his cellphone and calls Hattori's phone.
Is there any other way to track them?
"Heiji-san has a phone right? I saw this thing on tv about GPS and stuff.. Can't we do that?"
Right!
*eyes go wide* Excellent thinking, Mitsuhiko-kun! *claps him on the shoulder*
I got the voice mailbox...
"Hehe.. Well.." He rubs the back of his head.
Hakase, can we track the cell phones?
* ProfessorAgasa hands the phone to Conan so he can listen to the message.
I know Ayumi-chan has one...
* EdogawaConan listesn to the message.
[voice mailbox] "My myyy~~ Looks like the tanned cute detective boy caant answer right now. He's a bit busy~ Sorry, Cool Guy~! Vermouth....What are you trying to pull?

"Vermouth? The alcohol?" Mitsuhiko blinked. "Conan-kun... This is really bad, isn't it?"

"Ran-san. I think we should go back to the hotel! I'm worried about the rest of us.." He looked at the floor. He was ashamed that he couldn't do anything. He was too slow.

Last time, on Detective Conan, our eponymous main character was our to track down the sinister Black Organization.
Of course, with the Detective Boys and Ran around, things are getting more dangerous by the minute.
This was made even worse by the fact that Ayumi is now in the line of danger!

* Ayumi arrives at the 30th spot in the 5th row, looking around
* ProfessorAgasa storms out of the elevator, exhausted.
"Oi!" Heiji tried to catch up with Ayumi. "This is dangerous."

Heiji sighed and frantically looked around. He hoped Kudo would come anhy second.
* Ayumi makes a shushing gesture
*whispering* What if Conan-kun's in trouble?

"Then you let us handle it rather than a child running in head first. Don't you remember what happened in that cave? Conan was in critical condition after being shot." He harshly whispered

* Vodka slides open the van door behind Heiji quietly and pulls out a bat.

Mitsuhiko ran for the parking spot and didn't know what to do or what was going on.

* Gin is sitting in the back seat and notices the badge, tearing it off Ayumi's shirt.

* Gin turns his expression to a smile and inserts a piece of plastic, temporarily cutting off power to the badge, making it untrackable and unusable.

* ProfessorAgasa gets a new wind and sprints after Conan.
* EdogawaConan continues pursuing the van, knowing that Ayumi is there even if the signal is cut off
His eyes widened. tears threatened to come. "But... HOW?! CONAN-KUN!!" he screamed after him. He couldn't run anymore.
* EdogawaConan is moving at full speed on the turbo skateboard
* Vodka has Vermouth veer off in a different direction.
* Gin moves out onto a one-lane street.
* EdogawaConan follows the van that the tracker was in

* Gin grabs the wheel and holds it in place as Chianti moves out.
* EdogawaConan tries to speed up so he can catch the van carrying Ayumi
* Gin suddenly comes to a break-neck stop with Conan following at full speed.
* EdogawaConan is cursing in his head, wondering how the heck Ayumi managed to get into this mess
* EdogawaConan swerves, trying not to crash into the van, and then rolls off the skateboard and back to his feet
* Gin accelerates again, pulling away.
* Gin flicks his cigerette out the window.
* EdogawaConan is now on the side of the road, staring after the vans, cursing under his breath
* ProfessorAgasa pads out of the building.

*leaves a small mic on the object he's hiding behind, and dashes around it towards another thing, hoping to outrun anything that gets thrown at him, gunshot or otherwise*

* Gin is distracted by the movement.

LAST TIME, ON DETECTIVE CONAN
LAST TIME, on Detective Conan!
Ayumi and Heiji were kidnapped by Gin, Vodka, Korn, Chianti, and Vermouth
As Conan, Mitsuhiko, and Agasa realized the fake, Conan fled following the tracker to save Ayumi and Heiji, now with the knowledge that Ran is in custody.
And Kir was there too.
Vermouth tried to leave, but Agasa stopped her.
Haibara now must hide before Vermouth arrives at the hotel, and Mitsuhiko will do anything to save her.
Heiji had his kneecap shot by Vodka, and Conan is trying to face off with the Black Organization without endangering or giving himself away to Ayumi and Ran!
With Ran LITERALLY hanging in the balance, as well as the lives of everyone, will they be able to make it away from this scot-free?
[Cue title!]
[Cue scene!
Kudou Shinichi-kun.
Where's Shinichi-oniisan? *whispering to Conan*

"Ha- Hakase?" Mitsuhiko wanted to stay.. But there was Haibara-san to worry about. But.. Surely she was already gone?

* Gin watches the meat hook slowly slink away, Ran in tow via chain.
*takes advantage of the distraction to inflate his soccer ball, powering up his shoes* *kicks the ball HARD towards Gin to knock the gun out of his hands*
* Gin gets hit in the hand.

* Ayumi darts out and tries to throw Vodka off-balance the same way the boys tend to take down Takagi-keiji
* Vodka fumbles with the pistol but gets grappled.

* Gin takes another look at the kid, but then charges for his gun.
* Ayumi ducks under Vodka's swing and darts back to the control panel thing she was hiding behind before.

* Gin stops at his gun, half bent over, watching the strange scene with the child with an adult voice.

LAST TIME, ON DETECTIVE CONAN
LAST TIME, on Detective Conan!
Ayumi and Heiji were kidnapped by Gin, Vodka, Korn, Chianti, and Vermouth
As Conan, Mitsuhiko, and Agasa realized the fake, Conan fled following the tracker to save Ayumi and Heiji, now with the knowledge that Ran is in custody.
And Kir was there too.
Vermouth tried to leave, but Agasa stopped her.
Haibara now must hide before Vermouth arrives at the hotel, and Mitsuhiko will do anything to save her.
Heiji had his kneecap shot by Vodka, and Conan is trying to face off with the Black Organization without endangering or giving himself away to Ayumi and Ran!
With Ran LITERALLY hanging in the balance, as well as the lives of everyone, will they be able to make it away from this scot-free?

After narrowly escaping the Black Organization, everyone was rushed off to the hospital, especially Hattori-kun.
The impersonator known as "Vermouth" managed to slip away, but I met up with the group.
Mysteries still abound, and what's more, things are just getting worse for Conan's secret.
With Ayumi and even Gin now knowing his secret... how will he deal with keeping his friends safe?

Heiji slowly opened his eyes and groaned. He put his hand up to his head. His head was throbbing and his vision was blurry. "What happened?" He sat up slowly. the pain in his leg increasing
* Orderlie walks past the door.

* Orderlie walks in the door and picks up the chart, skimming it, before examining the monitor wired into him.
Look like you're recovering with no complications, but you lost quite a bit of blood.
You inhaled more smoke than the other patients, but that was probably due to a higher rate of breathing.
The body tries to compensate for the lost blood cells by sending them through faster, to ensure enough air gets through.
Of course, higher breathing is also a result of higher adrenaline levels.
"Thanks, Neechan." He smiled a little and laid back down.
We'll want to keep you for a little longer to run some other tests...
Just to ensure you didn't have any complications that aren't readily visible.
"I guess the bullets went through?" he looked at his feet.
Right. The bullets went through, so there was no need for surgery.
We've spoken with a hospital in the Beika region to preschedule physical therapy, however.
He frowned a little. He was hoping the bullets would be there for evidence. But it was the bo after all and there wouldn't be any thing left behind.

Fortunately, there wasn't a rather high level of fracturing. The muscle was torn, however.
We dealt with the external status of the muscle and did what we could to deal with it, but it will be very tender and will need physical training to strengthen it again.
I imagine if you're the kind of person who gets shot at in a burning warehouse, that won't be a problem, though...
Heiji cursed to himself. That meant he couldn't do Kendo for a long while.
"I am in real good shape. I'll blast through the therapy. "
Well, I'll remind you now that therapy isn't about going all out at once. That's how you strain yourself.
"R-right.." The consenquences were starting to sink in.

I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.
