RULES FOR THE FANART SECTION >>PLEASE READ<<

Greetings DCTP!  This is Kirite your freaky friendly fanarts moderator.  Here are some basic rules before posting in the fanarts section.  



1.  Please ensure your images are not too big.  If it is unavoidable put it in SPOILER TAGS and "warning large file".

2.  If posting drawings/fics/AMVS/songs THAT IS NOT YOUR OWN WORK.  Please credit the artist. Some artist also ask for their work not to be put on here, please respect the artist!   (Note:  Saying "I like this drawing I don't know who drew it" will not do.)

3.  If posting a drawing you drew but USED SOMEONE'S WORK AS REFERENCE.  Please credit the original artist.

4.  If you wrote 5 new chapters for your fanfic (for example), please put them in 1 thread instead of 5 new threads.  This goes for AMVS and fanarts as well.

just as an addition to #1, if you have a large image and don't want to spoiler it, you can specify width/height in the (img) tag by doing something like (img width=100), using actual brackets instead of parentheses of course. So you can do something like:

[img width=100]http://24-7kpop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/detective_conan_by_dimensi1.jpg[/img]

which will show the original 1200x774 picture as only 100 pixels wide, as:

[img width=100]http://24-7kpop.com/wp-content/uploads/ ... mensi1.jpg[/img]

you lose quality, but if you don't wanna spoiler it and don't wanna resize it yourself, it works well enough.

Thanks so much Akonyl!  Hahah I always wanted to know how to do that (now I can go around resizing things that are insanely big)

Though if they wish it doesn't have to be 100px.  They can always resize is a little smaller only I think?  Like 500 pixel or something.

yeah, the size of the picture can be anything, I just chose 100 as an example, since I didn't want to post a huge picture . You can use it to enlarge small pictures too, if you really want.

also, even though if you only specify width or height, it'll keep the aspect ratio while correcting it to the right width or height, if you really want, you can stretch the picture to whatever dimensions you want by including both width/height, like this:

How would you resize images now with the new forums? That same method doesn't work anymore...
