I have to admit, if we were bringing up the tapes again after all these years, I was waiting for a reveal with a little more kick in it than "let's pump more symbolism out of Silver Bullet."

Some probably redundant thoughts on the latest case...

It would make sense that Ai would run from Okiya if she thought it was Akai since she knew him as Dai in the B.O. and Akai avoided meeting her while he was with the FBI. She could believe he is still with the B.O. This would also shed light on why Okiya said he could read Ai's moves because of her sister. We've never had any indication that Bourbon knew Akemi.

It would make sense that Okiya is with Yukiko, given Conan's ties to Okiya and the woman does not have Vermouth's hair or build. I agree with the theory that Scar Akai was Amuro in the red t-shirt case and now it is Vermouth, who can mimic Akai's voice as well. We saw the hit called off in that case when Chianti targeted him.

Another thread suggested Okiya couldn't be Akai because he doesn't smoke but I distinctly remember Akai smoking during the Vermouth arc while he was driving around watching Ai and Conan. It's likely Okiya contacted Conan telling him about the video Mizuhiko sent and how Amuro hacked in to view it.

Why would Okiya wait for them to get on the train to contact Conan since he obviously knew about the video much earlier ? Is it only done because it's more convenient plot-wise ?

From what we saw in the previous chapter, Agasa only asks Mizuhiko about the video now. The message to Conan probably said this and confirmed that members of the B.O. were on the train as well.

Yeah, but if she meant the drug was going to take down the BO (since that's what silver bullets do), why did she call Conan that in the first place?

Random thoughts after reading the 820, 821:

Does anyone think that one of the passengers were blackmailed by a B.O member to shoot the guy?

The fire which killed the magnate and his family - Black Org related?

A staff uniform stolen - by whom? Someone within the Mystery Train's regular passengers or someone from the B.O?

I think that Scar-Akai is Vermouth in disguise and she recognised the woman (Yukiko or someone) when she walked past her in the corridor.

Okiya seems to have a connection to Akemi. Ai runs away because of B.O vibes- now what? Will Ran play a big role in the arc?

CONFIRMATION! Sera is Akai's sister. And it seems like Scar-Akai #2 is aware of that...
