In last previous chapter, Gosho create a chapter for any one to figure out which of three cases are connected to Takagi's. The second one is. Takagi was given a role to relay message, as we thought he was thinking of Satou, but the sticker he was looking is Date's-san, the photo of English teacher. Somehow, the kidnapper mistook Takagi as Date-san, believe Takagi is boyfriend who abandoned her. But, he never thought it was Date-san in person, he knows her well.

Miwako said the kidnapper did cry before, saying Date's death reminding him of her daughter's suicide. Miwako tells Conan the victim's name is Natalie, put many words 'date' on her calendar.

ADDED: Takagi knows the truth, he had not told her relatives about it, and end up kidnapped.

I didn't think my post was a spoiler. I was only giving my own impressions on the case so far, and this thread being specifically for the DISCUSSION of this case, I didn't think there was a problem.

Also, why exactly is that the right answer, Sato? Who posted it? Where did it come from? How did he get the next chapter ahead of time to translate it? You're the only one whose mentioned it and you have no evidence backing it up. You just claim it's a summary of the final chapter. The truth is, unfortunately, I have no way to verify your post. I don't know who wrote that summary. I don't know how they got the next chapter, or how well they translated it.

I'm sorry if that sounded mean, but as DC fans and aspiring detectives "This is the answer because I say it is." should never be a viable final conclusion here. You'll need to show me where that summary comes from as well as verify the accuracy of the translation. Otherwise the case remains active and open for investigation until we get Gosho's official solution as translated by the DCTP crew.

If i'd been here longer I'd probably have known about the spoiler thread and that it was where you got the summary you were referencing. I was trying not to be rude with my post. I saw someone post a "solution" and claim it as fact without any visable proof beyond their word, and i'm skeptical by nature. It's nice to meet you, and I hope I didn't offend you.
