It's possible that Bourbon has already used several disguises but his specialty really is information-gathering. Knowing that, he's someone good in deduction (Sera and Okiya comes to mind?)

I'm gonna bet on this: He's probably Okiya but the reason why he hasn't revealed that Ai=Sherry yet is that he's pulling a Vermouth. Maybe he has his own grudges against the organization (for trying to kill Akai, maybe?) or somehow, somewhere, Ai has saved him, too. Or he's in love with her or something. Or they're related.

that´s why iam not 100% sure about Okiya=Akai ,because its TOO obvious! and with Sera´s eyes, and the last interview (that maybe sera is the sister of an important character ), its like gosho is giving us too much evidence!

Someone mentioned that if Okiya=Akai then Gosho would have pulled the same trick twice (before it was "Jodie may be Vermouth") and it would be disappointing (well, I personally will be disappointed because there's so many other literary devices and stuff) not to mention too obvious.

The other camp (Okiya=Akai) makes some valid points, though. Also, Chekhov is on their side and my theory is that Chekhov=Gosho (LOL! *reference to another thread*) well, Gosho dictating what he wants to say to a secretary who types in English.

while i understand that if Okiya=Akai is kinda boring because there would be no suspense... but this is just for reading it the first time... to me this option and its consequences seems at the moment much more awesome than the other way round... and thats something at least i would enjoy quite much rereading it again...

Anyway, the "it's too obvious" approach is a fallacy, because it assumes that the answer is too difficult for us to grasp. I don't think that Chekh is Gosho though, since then he would reveal all the tricks and the entire plot through her, which doesn't seem like a smart move for an author.

There's this possibility that Gosho simply became obvious.

Gosho is a fan of giving us all the evidence almost all the time anyway, so I don't see why this would be too obvious. With Chekhov around everything just comes wrapped nicely with a bow.

there's still the possibility that after reading more 750 chapters (most probably more than 1 or 2 times) you're just able to deduce his hints so easily that you think it's obvious ... i mean, if you just read for fun for the first time and don't think that much about these hints(or just not recognise them) you probably would be surprised with whatever comes...
i mean... i read OP twice and didn't see the Pandaman hidden in many panels conciously until the second time chapter 510 or so ( i know that's slightly different though)
