[768-770] Jeet Kune Do: Sera's Identity Speculation Thread

1) Merged the two topics. No need for two things about the same case.
2) Don't EVER put stuff like that in the topic title because at the index, people can see the title. For example, if it's revealed that Bourbon is Genta, don't create a topic titled "OMG Bourbon is Genta!!!!!11!". In general, stuff that didn't happen in the anime yet, don't refer to it in topic titles.

Shinichi already confessed to Ran and I don't see Conan showing a whole lot of romantic interest in Sera. Since Aoyama-sensei called Sera a "very important character", Sera's placement in the story must be more strongly tied to the overarching Org plot than the romance one.

that would be for the best as far as the story goes. besides Gosho has made it abundantly clear that Shinichi and Ran will be together, there is no debate about that. Whether of not Sera tries to throw a fork in it makes little difference to the end result but I think you're right, it'd be dumb to have SHinichi confess and then turn around and have him romantically involved with a he/she

Oh yeah that thing that makes shonen series popular for a long time. It's a good thing Conan isn't a shonen series in that case and that Gosho has never been able to add plot consistently in cases in the past. Also a good thing I haven't thought of decent plot ideas that would be interesting without actually advancing anything within less time than it takes to read a single chapter. Cause if all that happened, this would all be really stupid for no real, explainable reason. Yep, glad none of that is true.

Anyway, as this doesn't seem very spoilery to me, I won't put it in spoilers: anyone think there's a possibility to have another file for this...'Jeet Kune Do' arc, I guess you'd call it? I only say this as the last page of 770 doesn't have the usual diamond fun box. Of course, Conan's not actually there, but that hasn't stopped him before.
