:P Clearly, you are a Chek-mate.

Anyways I'm still sceptic about that. After all, the FBI knows (they should know, especially Jodie and James) that those are pieces of evidence and not personal stuff. For Akai it might be personal, but that doesn't make them his stuff. Besides even if someone else handled his personal things ( another  FBI agent sent them back to the US or whatever) they would check those and the pics are definitely taken secret, so either Akai is a lolicon or it is an FBI matter.

Sorry for nitpicking, I'm just not 100% convinced. ^^""

Perhaps it was hidden in his wallet or a personal notebook.

Yes, I got the Vermouth arc correctly, but only barely. I did a pretty hack job by my standards today: a lot of hunches with little evidence.
•What I got correctly was Vermouth=Araide=Sharon=The serial killer. Vermouth dragging out her capture Haibara plan was to avoid getting Shinichi and Ran caught up in her plan in return for being rescued in New York, possibly a nod to Yukiko too. I got that Jodie was hunting Vermouth, probably was FBI, and she seemed pretty behind the ball with Conan and Haibara. I assumed Akai and James were FBI, probably good, but I wondered what was up with Haibara's reaction to Akai before deciding that if Akai were bad he would have done something more dangerous than listening in sooner.
•What I missed was the Vermouth non aging bit. I also missed the most important pictures of pictures clue, which meant I lacked solid proof for my theories. (I thought the FBI raided and got copies of the pictures, but I overlooked figuring out how to tell they were copies... ) I also made the assumption Vermouth saw Conan and Haibara at the party, so I picked out Araide to be Vermouth initially because he covered the elementary school too so was closer to Conan and Haibara, while Jodie only did the high school which would be good enough for hunting Araide. Happy accident I guess...

I don't have the full list anymore of all the hints I found (I made it quite a bit before I joined DCTP and my computer tanked sometime between), but I recovered some, but not all of them, from a notebook paper I found recently and posted them on the DCW wiki for Jodie and Vermouth's articles.

Fun fact: I probably would have failed the Vermouth arc if I had not failed the Grey Planner case. Getting completely taken by all the traps in that case was the one that tipped me off that Gosho was probably hiding lots of things and I needed to reread the Vermouth arc again more carefully.

well i got it right because hint to Jodie to be Vermouth is to obvious to the point it feel like a trap so i put suspicious to Araide. lol stupid technique but i guess it work.

that and Sharon=Killer. never thought Sharon and Vermouth is one person since i am thinking of generation of killer

Well, I also got fooled, basicly because I didn't have access to many of the old cases at that time. Getting Conan chapters ten years was quite difficult.

@Grey Planner Case: Totally forgot about that case. But this was indeed a tricky one.

But kudos, that you indeed have deduced the Araide/Vermouth connection.

What I missed was the Vermouth non aging bit.

Without what Akai said when he shot Vermouth with shotgun and graze her face, one can always assume that Sharon use disguise ability to cover her aged face (which she's not, she just don't age). My point is, Vermouth not ageing probably not there to guess in the first place.

ps.  Grey Planner??

Edit: below..
Ah. as expect from me, an anime person. This the second time I ask about this case (What case is it!!) LoL. First time when Chek said it was a hard case.

You could have guessed Vermouth's non aging if you knew Sharon and Chris were the same. The discrepancy is noticeable when you compare her face when she killed Jodie's dad and her face after she ripped her waiter's mask off at the bar. We know Vermouth must be at least Sharon's age which is 50 minimum, and you can't double layer masks so we know her real face - the one under the waiter disguise- looks pretty young. - and I missed that deduction.

Sharon rip of her police officer disguise in New-York, mean that face of Sharon there is her real face, which look pretty old IMO. The effect of her non ageing have not yet take place by then?

One problem in "Golden Apple" was that Sharon had wrinkles when we saw her unmask, while Chris's face was always shown to be flawless. (Of course she could have used theater make-up, like old age stipple, to make herself look older)

Also she masterly pulled a "Garak" with her "No Angel has put a smile on me" backstory.

You could also tell that she hasn't aged in Volume 42 File 10 she has injuries on her face so it's easy to tell that it's not a disguise.<<<

That one is the revelation. Akai prove what Jodie said about Vermouth age. Any "deduction" must precede that.

That wasn't what she really looked like it was just another disguise <<<<

As Chekvov state that you can't double layer your mask. I have to assume that' her real face.

Example of double mask: Hattori as Kudou as bandaged guy so if that's possible, a bit of makeup to make Vermouth look older under another disguise should definitely be possible, right? :D

Although Hattori's first layer is just bandage right, difference from copy someone's face as Sharon would have need too.
