1,097 spoilers are now out.

The DBs want to head to the beach, but Agasa can't take them due to his back pain, and Sumiko and Ninzaburo are on a date, so she can't take them either. Rumi overhears this and volunteers to take them. Shinichi/Conan asks Shūichi/Subaru to join them, worried about Rumi's focus on Shiho/Ai. Shiho/Ai actually agrees to Shūichi/Subaru coming with them.

At the beach, Rumi points out that Shūichi/Subaru has no sweat on his face and asks him if he knows Shiho/Ai. When he asks back how he could know Shiho/Ai and why Rumi would ask that, Rumi replies that Shiho/Ai looks like the daughter of the woman who ruined Rumi's life.

No break next week—we can expect 1,098 spoilers at around this time next week.

we hope new series will live up to expectations .
I like in Gosho that he connects the conclusions of some characters from the past and then collects these characters in one file to unite their conclusions and unravel the mystery .

I mean, for example, Conan and Okiya Subaru appeared in episode 861 and 862 and together they concluded that Asaka is RUM .

Okiya asked Sonoko and Ran before if they know someone named Asaka who can defeat his opponents .
Conan knows that Wakasa can hit many people like Bodyguard Asaka . In addition, Conan may know from Haito Gaito case that Asaka is a woman, and he also knows that Wakasa has an artificial eye from burning tent case

Conan also knows that she has something like a shogi stone in her back pocket, and he may be sure that it is indeed a shogi stone when he remembers that Wakita asked him before about a shogi piece missing from somewhere.Conan also knows that the mirror message at the Kohji crime scene refers to Carasuma , and Conan heard Wakasa previously mentioned Carasuma in the farm case 1051 .

What I want to say is that Conan and Okiya Subaru have been linked to Asaka's identity since episode 861 and 862 , They also appeared together in Asaka song case when they were accompanied by Bourbon Who was looking at picture of Wakasa in 1057,,, Which means, as I expect, we will know that Asaka is Wakasa through Okiya and Conan, while we will know family of Wakasa from Bourbon . The important question is whether Gosho will reveal all of this in this case or not ? I really wish

Then... maybe she is another APTX victim? If so and if RUMi is somehow related in anyway to a certain old man in a car that looks like Billy being the driver then that would explain why Mary was being followed and giving him the nostalgic memory? Wouldn't sending the Akai family over be a dangerous move then? Wow, let's expose the whole Akai family being related to Elena Miyano yeah way to go Conan!

Nope, Vermouth considers Haibara and her family as fools pursuing something foolish. After her failed assassination attempt on Mary by now it's evident that Vermouth wanted to ensure that nobody should know of Sherry being shrunk thanks to APTX-4869, that's why she consistently targeted to kill her. Else why would she want to blow up the carriage when eventually after Bourbon's capture of Sherry, the latter would have been executed by Gin.

Rumi has some bigger bones to grind, she thinks Miyano's ruined her life. Hence she is now checking on Haibara, the genius scientist who ran away. It feels more like an APTX victim taking her frustration out on the makers of APTX. Shinichi had the same reaction after knowing that Ai had designed the drug.

Billy has a hooked nose and wider chin, the driver on the other hand has a straight nose and sharper chin.

I don't think Rumi is anyhow linked with the mystery man or the driver. But she could be an ally of the Ooka/Haneda household.

Well... you might be right... actually the conversation between Rumi and Akai kinda reminded me of the conversation that happened between Kuroda and Rumi when they were having some sort of direct confrontation with words... kinda like they faintly know each other from before.

It was more like one-upmanship. Clearly by the end of this chapter we might get more definitive hints about Rumi, but one thing I'm pretty sure of, she is somehow a victim of APTX.

Tsutomu acting cool as always. A character like that can be hard for Gosho to handle, he could kill him just like he did with Matsuda.

You know what Rumi now doesn't seem like Asaka anymore. (This whole fight is sort of a prelude to Rum and that would mean this is happening after Kohji's death. Rumi clearly has partnered up with Tsutomu.)
Also if Rumi is not a BO then who did trigger Haibara at the camping ground case ?

Yes, Tsutomu was sent to investigate the case after it took place.

Just that Tsutomu's dialogue is in the same league with how Batman tries to dissuade Robin when he faces someone like Joker/Clayface etc.
So in a way Tsutomu showed too much of concern here, unlike a third party joining the fight.

The person/attacker was attacking Rumi and came at her with all guns blazing, hence her injuries.

The fact remains if Rumi is not BO then who really triggered Haibara ? Is Kuroda really trustworthy or a BO minion ?
