It's suspicious why Yuusaku is not involved in anything on screen. More suspicious why Yukiko is friends with Okiya and hanging out with him. Probably Yukiko dragged Yuusaku into this.

Anyway, desperate circumstance calls for desperate measures. It would be nice to see that Shinichi acknowledges he can't do everything alone, unlike the way he thought before.

My bet on the conclusion of this case is following:

Yusaku is disguised as Okyia and will reveal himself.
The show on TV isn't live or Akai/Shinichi(unlikely he had to take the antidote without Ai knowing) are disguised as Yusaku.
He will use an excuse such as hiding from paparazzi or to find the whereabouts of Shinichi, who has gone missing.

Either way Bourbon will conclude that Akai is dead and the one throwing the Grenade at the Bell Train was Vermouth.
This will result in more flashbacks.

Eventually Bourbon finds out about Conans identity because of Yusaku's answer.
But Bourbon will be out for some time unless he will work under Gin who wants him to investigate Kogoro even more or he wants to do some research on Conan out of his own will.

A short version of what might happen in the next chapter "Scarlet Return":

- Yuusaku reveals himself the moment they announce on TV that he is the winner, but couldn't come personally to take the trophy(which amuro will react to beforehand). Lamenting amuros failure to control the situation, amuro decides to flee the scene, as the reporters are waiting outside and asking a storm of questions for Yuusaku's win.

- since amuro said "CORNERING your friends", the risk of the cars, infront of Camel, being colleagues of Amuro are pretty high. That being said, the ppl in the first car behind camel is Subaru, conan and yukiko, trying to catch up to them to protect them. The car behind their car could be Amuro's colleagues(since cornering someone is hard if ur not chasing them).

- Camel will stop the car, Colleagues gets out of the car with gun ready, Subaru, yukiko and conan gets out of the car and starts acting like unrelated civillains(conan spouts something like mom and dad), the colleagues draws back, as well as the ones behind.

- colleagues inform amuro, who's on his way to raiha pass by car, about the situation.

- Jodie starts her touching dramatic reunion by asking.."are u really...?" And Subaru takes of his mask!!! "Yes, jodie....it's me!"

I'm gonna either laugh so hard when I see how much the chapter will differ from my guess, OR jump high by excitement for how Awesome the chapter will turn out to be!!! ^^

Hmmm if things turns out that way,I will be disappointed...I'm expecting Amuro to be smarter than that and maybe realize that it was just a plan of Conan's team before subaru takes off his mask.Maybe it's just me who wants something more spectacular than that.
Anyway only days to wait for the spoilers and we'll be fixed.

he bugged jodie before(during the cherry blossom viewing) and heard her when she was recalling about conan making them touch the phone!!

On Conan's misunderstanding of Amuro's nickname, ZERO ...

The translation from the above post though seems to be missing an important statement.. From what i can guess from google translate: it is currently called ZERO, but in the past it was known as something else ... maybe 'Sakura, 4th Division' ??

If this is the translation it points to Conan's mistake .. since Amuro said he was called ゼロ (ZERO) as a child, Conan thought zero referred to him being a secret agent of that Japanese Police organization, when actually it referred to him as being zero in 007 (or maybe something else entirely still).

This is a mistake Conan shouldn't have made if Conan had known the secret police organization wasn't known as ZERO when Amuro was a child, so he couldn't have a nickname referring to ZERO (Chiyoda) the secret police organization.

But there's a difference regarding his reaction to zero and the childhood nickname. As a child, he was nicknamed "rei," the term for zero of Japanese origin. It uses the character in kanji that looks the same as the Chinese character "ling." He reacts strongly to the child waiting for the elevator and Conan calls him "zero" because of it, the English loanword in Japanese for the number zero. It is written in that same katakana you note in your post. He tells Conan that his childhood nickname was zero, but he never points out that his nickname was actually "rei" then. Admittedly, the "rei" nickname is a reference to Amuro Ray. (Rei and Ray are pronounced the same way.)

By zero in 007, MI6's designation in popular culture for a license to kill is two zeros before a code number. In Goldeneye, there's Agent 006 and Bond is 007 throughout the Bond novels and films, for example. Despite a lot of the negative connotations, several fans of Flemming's work note that people who would be given it IRL would likely be extremely mentally stable. (People seem to think that, barring one or two examples, that someone with a licence to kill would go batcrap nuts and go random shooting people. I don't quite understand why, considering that some MI6 agents do have some powers akin to that and I've not heard of them going on rampages.)

I'm also searching for alternate slang meanings for the word "zero" that would relate to the situation, but I don't know yet what is going on. It's all just confusing right now.
