0:57 seconds.

I think it's also on the Official Website, but I can't read Japanese.

www.conan-movie.jp/

Some of the subheadings are in English, but the rest is all Japanese.

?!?!? Discuss?!?!?

From my understanding, no, Irish is not the name of an alcohol.  However, if you "irish something up", it means to add alcohol to it.  For example, an Irish Coffee is coffee + whiskey.

Could that perhaps signify the boss of the BO? I mean, it would go with GinRei's explanation if you take the definition as ... a genus or so. There are alcoholic drinks, the members, and the boss, Irish, irishes them up (= commands the members, is the top dog etc.). ;) This theory is really absurd, I grant, but I guess you know what I mean... :) Plus, it's just a theory to kill time... :)

Yes, that's a god reasoning. Bourbon Whiskey is American Whiskey and than they also just say Irish to Irish Whiskey.

How about Irish Cream, like Bailey's Irish Cream? I still think "Irish" falls short though as an alcoholic codename.

Seriously though, what do you think of when you think "Irish"?
Main thing that comes to mind here is drinking... closely followed by leprechauns, potato famines, and eating babies.

No.

That's too specific.

Aren't the Irish stereotypically 'drunk' and shouting about leprechauns and gold. Japanese anime is sometimes pretty stereotypical about foreign things.

I believe that this new Black Organization member, Irish, is probably going to die by the end of the movie, since he's an AO character.

I concur with that. Maybe trying to kill Irish is the reason why Vodka and Gin are shooting up the Tokyo tower. I'm thinking of a possible plot where Irish is the one behind all the assassinations on the organization's orders, but he messed up somewhere and left clues allowing Conan to pinpoint him and get the police on his trail. Gin and Vodka get the order to terminate Irish. Irish meanwhile figures out that Conan is Shinichi, and goes to get rid of him. (Maybe to exact revenge on him for figuring him out and therefore causing the organization to offload him.) Irish announces to Conan that he knows Conan is Shinichi, paralleling the likely dream sequence with Gin. Hopefully Ran is not around to hear this. However Gin and Vodka in the helicopter give Irish extra ventilation before Irish can finalize Conan. Conan doesn't learn anything from Irish regarding the org and is back at square one. Cue the credits and the following post credit dialogue:
Vodka: Aniki, where did you learn to fly a helicopter?
Gin: In Hawaii.

I'm hoping that Irish has also been given the order to investigate why Kudo Shinichi seems to be calling the police from beyond the grave to help with cases.
Another idea is that Irish is a former agent gone rogue and is exacting revenge for unknown reasons.
Conan's red shirt with a white collar seen in the confrontation sequence with Gin still hasn't shown up in any other scenes, so I am almost sure it is a dream sequence.

Edit: Something else just occurred to me, if the worker guy who comes up the tower with Ran is really Vermouth in disguise, then Vermouth might be the one to finish off Irish.
