As said, nobody is forced to read spoilers and theory threads/wikis.

And while some people might be "disappointed" that most of the stuff revealed lately was predicted for months/years, for me it shows the great strength and intelligence of all the fans, who deduced all this stuff by reading the manga and finding all the clues.

And I really salute to this people for their awesome Detective Work and their love for Detective Conan.

As I noted the other day: I think the real mystery in the community isn't who-is-who and the like but instead exactly how things will play out. We've known with certainty who-is-who for a long time, but what none of us really knows is exactly what events are going to unfold and when, which is what keeps it interesting whether you have taken notice of every clue or none of them.

Few lil thoughts on the latest file:

Now that the case itself is over, it'll be interesting to see how many more files the Black Org action takes place over and how long it'll be before another "case" is introduced (if there will be one in the midst of these events). Gosho very, very, very rarely has done files that haven't had some sort of "here are some suspects" case going on in the interim between bits of plot.

DC is a mystery series, and mysteries are supposed to be able to be predicted before the reveal with the right deductive reasoning applied to the hints. You aren't going to get some sudden, random twist unless it serves as a hint, red herring, or plot device.

[rant]I understand people like to be surprised, and so they should they should away from fan theories; but, bloody hell, this a forum that is highly dedicated to solving mysteries, so don't come here and read and discuss theories and expect to be surprised at the end. You solve the cases, and have the satisfaction you solved them, or you don't and decide to be surprised. [/rant]

@Trishula: If you're looking to avoid theories and only looking for spoilers, try "DC Spoilers" in the side bar. Skip past the white cbox and any new spoilers/Chinese raws/translations will be there, theory free. What I've just pointed out, in fact, is updated more consistently and frequently than these threads. Problem solved.

Yeah, I know.  ;) I said to skip it though since people do theorize there as well, and Trishula seems to want to avoid that. So, funny as the cbox can awesomely be, it wouldn't be something I would recommend to someone trying to avoid theories

plus not everyone knew about Amuru is Burbon. you know only people who spent their time on DC forum would have guessed about it.

if you read DC for the plot .. I am afraid you will be in massive dissapointment. DC as a whole has very little plots but some good cases.

edit: I will never know why people mourn " oh no Gosho made it too obious DC is ruined." or " waah there is no suprise we have seen it coming." If you have read some credable theory, then of cause there is chance that it would come true. For people who never read such theories, this reveal can be a shock to them. I think  people who mourn about it would have prefered Gosho to perform an ass pull and have some random charecter as Burbon  just for a shock. I really doubt even if Okya was revealed as Burbon, it would not sastfy these fans.

Ok... So, I finally caught up with every chapter up to now from where I left off.  Things have heated up and I like it.  That includes the spoilers that are in the spoiler section.   My brain almost hurt until I re-read the spoilers...

I paid zero attention  to the murder mystery. All I focused on was Ai's case with the BO. That was it.

("Conan vs BO"  ---  I've yet to see that, Shin-chan...)

So...  

"Haibara" = gets away from everyone.  About to take the "Silver Bullet", but then, is met by Okiya who invites her into a room. She panics a little and runs off vowing not to be killed by the BO's hands. Okiya oddly smiles as he watches her run off.  (Me: No no no no...  Okiya, you're suppose to grab her and make sure she DOESN'T leave your sight! *facepalm*)

"Mystery lady" = Yukiko, who was teaming up with Okiya to protect Ai.   Edit: Ahaha....  I'm having Amuro fever to a point that I'm typing his name unconsciously everywhere.

"Scar!Akai" = Vermouth, whose motives are still not exactly clear to me.  There's still something fishy about her, even if she kicked Yukiko's suitcase out the window, took her costume related stuff out, and is pointing a gun at Yukiko. Her actions still make me question her.

"Sera" = knocked out by Vermouth, although, now Sera believes that her brother's alive.  She was moved to Yukiko's room. Okiya finds her there and does something that I can't easily tell by the artwork. He smiles before leaving the room, hearing her talk in her sleep.

"Amuro" = Bourbon.  At least, that's what HE says in the cliff-hanger.  =.=;;  And he says Ai looks so much like her mother before that.  But.....but.....   ;___;  I like Amuro!!  I think he'd make an awesome detective on team!Conan.    What kind of hint is Okiya stating when he labeled Amuro as "heaven"?    I'm not crazy about this twist.  Picturing Conan going against Amuro makes me sad... .  

Would've been great if Bourbon was someone really REALLY not so obvious or not seen so much in the story so far.  (Although, it's suspicious enough that he just "joined" the BO. "I hate Akai so much" would be a passing cover excuse...)   Oh well... The only way that this could get interesting is instead of just a typical "Amuro = Bourbon" plot, everyone involved is actually two-timing the BO.  

The two main "ferocious" baddies, Gin and Vodka, are not even in the train. They can't see anything. The only form of communication they have is a cell phone.   =.=  If I was Vermouth, I would so take this nice opportunity to stage a fake attack on Haibara. So, it would look like an attempt has been made on Sherry's life, fake blood could be involved, and maybe "Sherry" in name only, will be killed.  Hence, Gin will think Sherry is dead. (Ha-llllooo..  He doesn't even know Sherry has been shrunken down!)   Sherry can go back to being Haibara for a time being.

Now, both Sherry and Akai are "dead" in BO's eyes.  This could really get interesting.  Team!Conan with dead people.  =.=  Yep.   My pipe-dream theory that will probably be run over by Gosho's head. Arrraghhh...  

Edit: Thinking about it now, that's Vermouth in the convenience store arc?  Hmm...

Edit 3: This real murder feels like a coincidence and too convenient for "Bourbon", but, I think Vermouth would've acted no matter what whether it was a real one or the fake murder mystery.  That hidden smoke bomb was cleverly placed.    

Now, I'm super excited to see the beginning of the next chapter, while still feeling a little sad.....!!

Hello, i just registered yesterday but have lurked around here for some time.
I have a quick question, is it possible that the guy called Chekhov somehow is Gosho himself? I think his deduction is so damn accurate and even if there's a mistake, it seems that it has been made up to make him less suspicious

Chek's actually a female, and she just looks at the facts carefully.

No surprises in identities, but fans who aren't familiar with the theories are probably taken aback with this 813's relevations.

Moving Forward:

1) Still waiting for Yusaku.

Where is he while his wife and son are risking their lives fighting such a dangerous organization ? Just this once, I'll like to see him interfere.

2) Sherry's escape.

Assuming Amuro doesn't just let her walk off...

I'm predicting Okiya as her savior since Conan is on the other side of the train, Yukiko is at gunpoint and Sera has been taken out of commission.

....unless Ran followed Amuro ? (She has a record for following dangerous characters.)

3) ...So close to unraveling Vermouth's immortality. Further credibility to the theory of the replication of the original drug Vermouth took ?

4) Was quite confident in my guess that the suitcase contains disguise tricks. Not far from truth at least.
