oh well.. i believe the head of BO is Professor Hiroshi Agasa.. imo  jux a speculation  i mean.. theres an episode where shinichi was kidnapped by vermouth.. how did agasa find conan.. especially when conan was out of nowhere.. secondly.. agasa is a scientist.. could he have invented the aptx drug? who know?

Even if Agasa is the B.O. Boss, how would he have known where Shinichi was? The only thing probable would be Vermouth's cell phone (a trace or something), but he was never on the phone for 20+ secs (Special software designed by B.O. in movie 5 to trace a phone call that needs only 20 secs) and even if Vermouth had told B.O. Boss where she was, why would she have called Gin & Vodka from the payphone instead of the boss again? (It was not to hide the fact she had failed, because the B.O. Boss would have found out eventually.)

I would say that a new character would be invented or perhaps was "Seen" on several occasions as an easter-egg like Conan passing by "Burger Queen"

Has anyone thrown in the idea that it might be Haibara's Parents or more specifically, her father. Maybe it will be some anime cliche plot where her mother has a disease and the father wants to find a method of eternal life(Their deaths were staged) to save her and he has become consumed by this. So  he no longer recalls having any relatives and is a soulless man not caring about what has to be done to get eternal life to save his wife.

I've always suspected one of them being the B.O. Boss, as well as Akemi, which she could have staged her death as well. One of these three are at the top of my list of possible B.O. Bosses.

It doesn't really mean that his appearance was given some sort of emphasis or something. He might just be the "extra guy" in one of the episodes.

I do not mean to be rude, but like some user posted time ago, there are SEVERAL reasons why Yusaku Kudo can't be the BO's boss (Or "Anokata") and the other ideas are inversimile. In my opinion, the Boss has to be someone who hasn't appeared on the manga yet. Who knows? Maybe Movie 13 will bring some clues...

I myself imagine Anokata as "shadow silhouette" or as a bussines man with colb blood called... Antonio Torres, aged 55, from Toledo (I'll leave in your hands the job of finding out where Toledo is... )

Apart from that, we must have patience...
