The manga has had him giving a deduction while standing between Ran and Kogorou, and she thought nothing of it.  I don't see it being a problem now.

I haven't changed my mind about this. If Scar Akai is a disguise that can be passed around, why not Okiya?

This is just an idea, but maybe that suitcase could have belonged to Yukiko and contained disguising equipment? I thought that it *might* be possible that they were planning to disguise Haibara/Shiho so that she would be more difficult to find. Vermouth would want Haibara to take the antidote because then Bourbon could eliminate her without finding out about the shrinking (which would endanger Conan). But Vermouth wouldn't want Haibara/Shiho to be disguised too well, because then she might get away.

Makes sense. I'm 99.9% certain Vermouth wanted to ditch Yukiko's expected "bag of tricks", regardless of how Yukiko aimed to use it. But if Okiya is Akai, that's all the more reason to assume a connection with disguising Haibara/Shiho.

Hello, I'm new here; just made an account for the forum but I was wondering about something:if we do learn Okiya's true identity (assuming he's Akai), that would put Kir in danger unless he reveals his identity without any BO knowing...Might be hard doing so especially if he learns that his sister got captured

It seems that all active BO members except the two snipers(who were probably stationed near where Gin and Vodka is to snipe Shiho) are involved in this case except Kir, so maybe she can GTFO(Jodie can reach her via cell and Conan have Jodie's number) before the BO can capture her and hold her at gun point like they did in the Shopping Mall Fake Bomb Case. Granted this would compromise an asset the Akai/Conan team tried very hard to plant back into the BO but I think her life won't be in danger.

new teory: what if Vermouth saved akai from the explosion? after all she is the master of disguises, so she could easily make a mask that can lose blood. after all he got shot in the head, even if he was prepared with some kind of protection, he would have been unconscious or at least dizzy from the shot and couldn't have escaped alone from the explosion

even though I think the mysterious woman is most likely Yukiko, after someone mentioned a few pages back dead people coming back, I'm thinking whether Elena knew about Vermouth being Sharon. I say that since Ai's parents created the drug and the way Sharon Vineyard hasn't aged, not to mention Elena was most likely going to become Akai's mother-in-law if it wasn't for Akemi's death. What does everyone think about this?
