well, embryo should starts about 3 weeks after fertilisation, Zygote is the stage about after 3-5 days, then blastocyst stage from 5-8 days, implantation some 9-10 days.... so really, for Akemi to know to check to see if she's pregnant, it needs to be an embryo XD (HCG would present clearly here too, so ... you know) XD

If the baby turned out to be a twin, that means Gin killed 3 people... 3 in 1... saving bullet...

With today's economy you can't waste bullets, can you?

Well, despite the fact this thread's been quiet for about 120 days... I still want to throw in my 2 cents. *please* don't be mad at me- it IS the appropriate thread, why would I want to start a new one for a small sentence?

Which would explain Akai's complete attention towards an elementary school student during the hospital case instead of underestimating him... and it would also, possibly, explain James' trust in Conan during his first appearance case.

Hmm and if we consider the time frame... Akai was kicked out of the organization before Conan ever came to be, if I remember correctly.  Of course, Gin shot Akemi after that, and therefore, her message to Akai would come somewhere before that event.  Unless she sent it within a couple of days before she was shot, it makes no sense.  Unless, of course, Ai told her.  Except Ai didn't know at that time, either.

It's a nice theory, though.

The theory requires Akemi to have whipped out her cell phone, while dying from Gin's gunshot and in front of Conan himself, to text that to Akai right after Conan told her his real name and right before she died.  So, no.

If that's the case, the theory poster is clearly working off the anime instead of the manga (and even then it's a stretch).

Looking at the words above the PS, a few things become clear.

1) She started the message 'If this works'. This suggest that this message is not about possibly getting killed, and suggest the message was sent before her Robbery. That said this message would not be sent at her 'death' bed.
2)Tthe main message is asking for a date. That part would suggest the PS contains the way to get a hold of her, most likely a phone number, or a message like either please call or text me with your answer.
3) because of 2, it becomes unlikely it would be a 'I love you' try message, as if he would to reply no, then that message would be untimely. It appears she is looking for a date, and while she might already know what his answer will be, she wants him to confirm it and so does not want to paint him in to a corner.
4) also since it is a date message, the chance of saying about her sister becomes very remote. Also if she were with child, she would more likely want to tell him in person. Plus she uses the Word if. That suggest that if it does not work out and she might be wondering if she could get killed, then surely she would not want to add to his sorrow by basically saying " oh by the way your kid is dead'.

The above and basically because of #2 above, this PS becomes a 'send me your answer' message, and that might be why it was cut off.

It was that timeframe in mind- which while I know is entirely impossible, was simply my toss into the idea.

It'd be weird to tell someone you're pregnant in a PS, imo.
I mean, i'd probably have a heart attack if i was told it that way, like:

oh ok so let's see... blah blah woman talking... ( :p ) oh wait, there's a PS.

Agreed. It's never going to happen. Akemi is compared to Ran, for goodness' sakes. She's meant to be Akai's Ran.

I'm hoping these things will be addressed and are not some random things Gosho put in just to make things suspicious but doesn't intend on using any of it and forgetting all about it. It would truly be an utter waste of space.

My two cents: I also think it's "PS. I love you." From the impression I get from her personality, she might put in a confession at the end, especially since she knows that there is a chance it won't work.

"PS. Take care of Shiho if this doesn't work" could be possible too though less likely since she would think Shiho's still in the BO while Akai's been proven traitor and so can't quite protect her.

hmm,I don't care at all about the comment of Takagi,it just shows he may find his identity,so it's not a mystery for me...
I just don't want Gosho to forget to reveal what Helena said on the tapes,and the PS of Akemi's message...

I still think(and hope) the PS concerns Shiho,since Akemi knows there are risks for her to be killed... so I guess she wanted someone to take care of Shiho(if it's not the case I will think she cared more about her lovestory than about her sister  )
that's why I think Akemi asked him to help Shiho to get out of the Organisation...that's the most possible solution for me ^^

Moreover I think Akemi already said she loves him a long time ago,but that's also a possibility...
