i read the thread in whole, afterall some pages were real fun reading and very interesting while others were quite exhausting... pff ... now i can say something without being acclaimed of repeating theories already mentioned (at least in this thread)

Since I've read what Kir said to Gin... I think the possibility of Akai is still alive is like 89% XDDD
i'm kinda surprised that was the most hinting at of what i thought of... or it is just my small mind that thinks it has to be mentioned here
out of the context and date of the post i think Eve was talking about Kir and Gin talking during the RedShirtBombingCase(V67/F702/p2-3) in the Porsche...
maybe i'm reading too much into this conversation but the way Kir states these things about their supernatural mind and foreshadowing gin's instructions as if they had Holmes mind seems just too coincidential... i know ... this doesn't prove anything but Kir surely does recognise Conan as a very very sharp and intelligent mind, maybe even to the point she may says this thinking of Conans plan with big grin in her mind, i mean Kudo is stated as Holmes (forgot the correct term here)
(yeah yeah... Kir most likely doesn't know his true identity but it isn't too farfetched for someone to make a connection between a sharp mind and holmes here, especially since Kir seems to be quite fascinated with Conan's intellect)
and i don't think it is too farfetched (egh again) that akai and conan predicted the reiha pass as the location of a probable attempt to prove kir's loyality, lonesome road with another road nearby from which you can look over the place but not near enough to get spotted that easily ... seems not like something that common... especially after what Akai said in the hospital talking to her... her saying her CIA mission having first priority and he and conan like ... yeah of course, nothing less ... and then she like "WTF".... at least that was my impression of this conversation, if solely for the reason i can't imagine Conan and Akai not foreseeing actions like they happened afterwards
with that being said... and as mentioned above ... this proves nothing but in context to the whole Okiya=Akai theory (i refer to Chekhov's post p19 here) i think it strengthens this theory quite at bit(while indeed it is just a hunch), it wouldn't make sense if Akai = Scar Akai or was really dead or other theories were the case
hm.. somehow i have the feeling i failed in how i wrote this...
btw ... just asking the people who don't support Okiya=Akai theory because they think it's to predictable or not surprising enough... but with that many theories bustling around which claim things otherwise, i think all probable theories won't be that surprising, won't they ? ... and the unprobable ones would be kinda unfair against the readers, just my thoughts
btw2 ... while reading all these pages i kinda would like to see how Vermouth would react to/evaluate the situation if she knew about conan's involvement in the clash arc
