i mean he wanted to kill her that makes him (criminal),is it?
conan what happened to there's no reason to kill people and guilty is guilty no matter what ..where's that words now

But I was just wondering : Haibara wouldn't say "Black Organization" would she? ^^ that term is more appropriated to Conan who first called the Organization like that.ten wrote: I do like how Haibara was involved in confronting and stopping the criminal (doesn't happen too often)
Instead of a long rant of my problems with this case ... I decided instead to do a fanciful full page rewrite to illustrate them and my (fanfiction) hopes!:
In 802, Conan thinks to himself: "Things have gone too well ... It's like this is the work of something intentional ..."

I get 100% what you say and I agree that you shouldn't truly blame the wife for her reaction (that was unfair what I made Haibara say about her) -- in part this is why I incredibly disagree with what Conan did -- letting her husband see her and talk to her in the HOSPITAL right after she wakes up after all the mental & physical trauma she just experienced (some how it reminds of how some women in abusive relationships forgive / dismiss their spouse/boyfriend's behavior and there you shouldn't be faulting the women in those situations).Kikiko wrote: I know she did, I'm addressing the victim blaming in Ten's comic of "what does that say about the wife who forgave him?"
Conan was great at the end of the caseKikiko wrote: Thank you, that was a great reply. I was definitely trying to be gentle while making the reminder.
If this is a set up for a change in Conan and Haibara's friendship, I really hope Conan comes out of it looking better than he did at the end of this case.

I agree with you. Conan felt he deserved a second chance and let his wife to decide whether she can forgive her husband or not. OK, now I want Amuro/Bourbon/Okiya related stuff!!!!Borealis wrote: see it like this: if he lets the husband be arrested, he destroys a family that at least could have a happy ever after. He leaves the choice to the wife. If she can't forgive him, the relationship is over anyway. If she can forgive him, that means that they have a good chance of working things out.
Also, it isn't as if she couldn't sell him out (like she said) she only has to tell the police that she found out about this being planned later on.
I also don't think that Conan would have let him go if he hadn't shown remorse. He was really sorry and thus had a chance to change.
