I wanted to ask "how is it so obvious?" and then a train of thought ran just through me and I wanted to share it with you guys to see what you think.

First off, I have to say that if I had to subscribe to any particular theory about Amuro's allegiance I'd say...I'd love for him to be MI6 (and the whole "zero" nickname being related to a "license to kill" kind of thing) but then he probably wouldn't be saying this
with so much emphasis on "MY". So I guess, since Conan introduced the other agency (PSIA? PSA? always forget) to the readers it's more likely that's the case. I don't know, Amuro being MI6 could provide a way to explain his rivalry with Akai, maybe some OP gone amiss that made the FBI and the MI6 clash back in the day, who knows.

Secondly, I have a strong feeling the guys supporting Amuro in these couple past files aren't BO because the reveal was comunicated to Amuro just over the phone without even seeing who's on the other end of the line. This, for me, suggests it's not the BO on the other end. Why? Well, I think we can safely assume in an operation of this caliber (chasing FBI guys and cornering them) at least some of the known assets of the BO would be involved (Chianti, Korn or Vodka at the least) and probably Gin would be monitoring the whole thing as they did with Kir's rescue mission.
So, how is it we didn't get to see any Gin/Chianti/Korn/Vodka reaction panel with some of their "BIG WTF" faces when Akai is revealed to be alive? I just don't buy those chasers are BO.
Besides, the way Amuro refers to his partners in this operation is just wrong, he doesn't work "comfortably" or "hand to hand" with any BO other than Vermouth, as far as we've seen (I don't consider the Mystery Train to be categorized as "Amuro working with the BO guys" because everyone had their own agenda, we can hardly call that working together).


All of this said, I arrive to the open question/point/idea/ I wanted to expose. I have to warn you it's really tinfoil material

Assuming Mask-Okiya = Yusaku, let's consider these two facts

1)Yusaku said very early in the manga he had contacts in Interpol
2)This is the first time, ever, we would be seeing Yusaku getting involved against the BO

Is it possible that the reason of Yusaku's involvement now is because Conan has asked him to do some research (via Interpol) on Amuro and upon the results (whichever they might be) concluded it's safe to involve his dad in the current events?

As I said in a previous post, I was kinda reluctant to believe Yusaku would be involved, since Yukiko's relationship with Vermouth gives her this "edge" over some situations, and Yusaku doesn't have that. But if we consider the Interpol's involvement it could be one way to explain why is it safe now for Yusaku to be involved or whatever

I can understand that ur impatient, i also tend to get that but to avoid problems, u really need to put ur mind somewhere else. And u don't have to worry about 897, it will come out next week! ! ^^
