yeah you're right!it's a shame we don't see haibara in the current arc with the bo, but since okiya is her neighbour,she can inverstigate him easily!have you noticed that she ressemble more and more to a detective recently(mostly because of conan ) ?

Back to topic....Remember how Okiya was talking about traitor? well it's pretty clear he was talking to Ai at the same time... and he did say Traitor won't end up good... Pretty sure he's not trying to protect her by saying this...
Why did Okiya drink Bourbon, the possible answers are:
Nothing, it is just a coincidence
Okiya is the pyromanic who downed Bourbon for good luck before commiting arson, as mentioned by Conan in the beginning File 638.
...i'm pretty sure there wasn't anything about Bourbon being an arson...Kir said that Bourbon is skilled at inspection and information gathering...
conan just randomly looking up to news report in his cell...saying that a serial pyromaniac/arsonist downed himself in alcohol/bourbon for good luck before committing an arson... if that was Okiya...he should have been arrested....already....
i don't know the arson might be okiya but i'm pretty sure he is not.

I shall lend a hand in a little confusion: Miyano Shiho does not know, who Akai Shuichi is. She does know however that his sister had a boyfriend who was also a member of the organization by the codename of Rye and most probably she had seen a photo of him. She also suspects his sister's boyfriend in the involvement or cause in her death, and that person has a negative vibe around him. Little off: I myself also tend to be lost in deep dark thoughts, cats avoid me, dogs barking yet I'm not a bad person, just having trouble issues as anyone else, On: Shiho feels that vibe and holds a distaste against him and in addition she feels the vibe. What most people are missing is, and you can recheck i in the Ikkaku Rock Case, Conan does help Ai to stand behind him but does not protect her openly because he does know who that person is.
It is a totally other subject why he can't tell her: if Shiho were to know who Akai Shuichi was she would blame him and would run away or even in the mildest she would start asking questions which would lead to the end of Okiya
Bourbon keeps secrets like Vermouth and hates Shuichi, it's possible the only reason Conan-tachi is still alive is that he wanted to make sure Shuichi was dead first.

Just a small correction: In file 599 Jodie mentions that Akai made acquaintance with Shiho, and he sliped to the BO through Shiho's connections, so they have probably met in person.

Back to the topic: it is really hard to tell know who is Subaru and who isn't, but the second most obvious option wins, that Okiya is Akai. In addition, I still find it logical that he is Bourbon as well, I think I just stick to this tehory and nothng else. No matter from where I look at the things the conclusion remains the same. I hpope we get an anser to this question soon, 'cause the suspense is killing me. And the complicated theories as well. ;D (Including mines. XD)

yeah i think the same! i think more and more that okiya is akai and the burnt akai is bourbon,even after reading the spoiler of file703.... but maybe gosho will surprise us ! cause i find this theory too obvious,i would be a bit disappointed if gosho use deguise trick again,with okiya=akai and fake akai=bourbon or vermouth!
