If I remember right, the reason Yamamura's phone call to his grandmother sounded the same as the Seven Children was because they had the same (Tottori?) area code, right? So even if Yamamura/granny Yamamura isn't the boss, they live pretty close to the BO official base of operations (BOOBOO?>_<), so they may end up having some connection to the organization in the end. I can see Yamamura blurting some random, crucial thing that ends up leading Conan to the boss.

If he is the big boss, though, he's probably got Conan figured out, since Conan's put him to sleep so many times.

Hm... she obviously found out something that she wasn't supposed to.  Perhaps we should call the police FBI a private detective an elementary school kid to come and check out the crime scene.

Later-
Random reporter: A college student was found strangled in her bedroom by an unknown assailant.  The police are searching for clues but so far everything has come up blank.  The murder weapon, the victim's own soccer socks, were found neatly folded in her drawer along with the crushed remains of what appears to have been an Apple laptop.

Haha...on a semi-serious note:  did anyone else find the behavior of granny in the White Witch episodes, where she ignored Yamamura's telling her to stay in the car, and came out and insisted on her seemingly silly story about seeing a "goddess", which ended up being a hint to the case, suspiciously similar to Conan disobeying Kogoro and his "alelelele!" moments?  O_o

And Eisuke had displayed similar behavior...

Yamamura being the BO boss is possible, because we never gets to know his thoughts, unlike characters like Kogorou or Satou. Well, actually, that doesn't prove anything.
But Conan has put him to sleep countless times, so if he was the boss, something would have happened because of that, wouldn't it?
And think he really is a fool.

Well his grandmother would be possible too, but... so weird ???
And she doesn't appear enough. That would not be better as one of the policemen who love Satou-san and who are just showed for the fun.
That would be more possible in mangas like Magic Kaitou, which is less serious. But in DC, can you really fancy the appearance of the boss : Tadaa! It is a grandma!
Although, that would explain why the BO lasts so long. 50 years, isn't it?

So strange! I am still alive.

By the way, I am a new member. And I am French, so please go easy on me if I make mistakes.

AH!  But the good thing about Conan is that we have such things as disguise masters and Apotoxin.  The grandma could simply be disguising as a grandma or she could take the apotoxin at some point in time and then be young again.

Hmm, I never really thought about that. That's a really good point.  Also, you can't forget that what Haibara said about the drug being a over 50 years old, not the organaztion itself.  In other words, there could be a change of leadership and Yamamura could be the newest boss.  I have to doubt it, but on the other hand, no one can be a stupid as him, can they?  ???

Yeah Kogoro, did you read this one?
