Re: My theories about the plot.

It's obvious enough that for the strangest reason, the French wikipedia article for the boss lists him as a speculation.
I've tried to explain many times to the guy who wrote the French wikipedia that Karasuma being the boss is really unlikely. It's the same one who wrote on the French wikipedia that Haibara was deeply in love with Conan. So don't take the French wikipedia into account. :D
Is it me or people tend to suspect Karasuma because it's the easiest character to suspect?

It's me who wrote the Karasuma theory on the french wikipedia and I don't remember saying that Ai was in love with Conan. But I wrote it a long time ago (approximatively one year ago or more) so maybe there was modification by an other user and you mistake me with him :p

Personally, I don't see why Renya Karasuma being the boss is unlikely, maybe he is not the boss but at least he founded the organisation or he have links with the BO. During volume 30, the BO was never mentioned but Karasuma death and the massacre in his villa were never solved by Conan, which is strange because in all the case non-related to the plot strange facts (a fire which happened a long time ago, etc...) are always solved.

Gosho Aoyama said that if we know the boss identity, we know the BO real name. I remember reading the french version of volume 30 and they talk about Renya Karasuma. In the english version they made a mistake, they said something like "the crow association died/disappeared 50 years ago" despite saying that it was Karasuma who died 50 years ago. When I saw this mistake I began to think that Karasuma can be the boss because his name was translated as "the crow association" by the english translators, and I am sure some Japanese readers noticed that and it corresponds with what Gosho Aoyama said.

And I think that Aoyama wanted to end the series at the end of the Vermouth arc because there were several clues leading to the Boss. There was the list in the mermaid case with the name Oguro Rentaro, the Karasuma case, Vermouth imagining Sharon's husband in volume 35 despite the fact that he is supposed to be not real (and we see his body but not his face even in the anime) and finally Conan discovering the boss' number (which he seems to have forgotten surely because the editors told Gosho to do so). Oguro Rentaro and Karasuma (and also Sharon's husband and Chris' boyfriend) can be the same person just like Conan and Shinichi and maybe it's the boss or they are related to him. At least never there were so many clues about the boss as in the Vermouth arc.

But of course this is speculation and the series is actually focusing on unnecessary stuff (akai family, ...) despite the fact that there are so much mysteries which are not resolved for more than 15 years.

@Moerp: I agree. Thank you for clarifiying, it only shows how much this theory is based on nothing. It would be far too obvious for Karasuma to be the Boss.

Oh, please excuse me then, I didn't know that. But still, many fansites are dedicated to the search of Ano Kata, no need to write it on wikipedia. "Haibara is deeply in love with Conan" and "Masumi loves Conan" weren't necessary, for example.

Thank you for your clarification Moerp, I think we'll never know the truth about Karasuma until Aoyama decide to reveal the boss identity (sadly I have the impression that the series is never going to end).

No you don't have to apologize Startold, it's nothing. By the way, do you know what happened to beika street? It's been month that the forum is down, it's too bad because it was one of the best french DC website with kudoproject.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
Beika Street was hacked by someone who framed some members, insulted them and read the Private Messages. The forum is down for the moment, the webmaster is currently improving its security. Let's hope it will be up soon!

That's sound serious! That's really inappropriate and some people has nothing to do with their lives and feel untouchable behind their computer...
Yes I hope too that they will solve the problem and you should be careful maybe the hacker want to do the same thing with kudoproject or other websites...

I think that the boss is Agasa's uncle because he fits in with the boss's age, he would shock Haibara, we haven't actually seen his debut but we know who he is. its possible that after taking the drug he became a seven year old and wanted the same for his sister Teiko so they could live forever but was afraid of the side effects and since Pisco said that the drug had come very far when he saw Haibara it makes even more sense however because Teiko died a year ago he changed the plans for the drug and made it so that it could bring the dead back to life which fits in with raising the dead part and so he started rushing Haibara on making the drug."
I think that the problem of the boss is not a shrunk body but a stop aging if the boss Don t change in the 50 years passed he also in 70 or more years old if he had a stop aging like vermouth and they stopes aging together . I think the boss now is 30 or something like that ( please forgive me for my bad English)
