Aoyama also suggests that the true name of the syndicate, which has also never been revealed, is tied to the identity of its leader. If the Black Organization’s real name were revealed, everyone would know who its leader is. This may turn out to be the biggest hint of all.
Oh my God... it's Bill Gates.
It all makes sense. The millions of dollars the organization steals, the computer programmers they kidnap and force to program for them... everything!

lol GenRei You Rock Man!..this also explains why Bill's ranking in the world's riches slipped down..hahaha
But nice point to discuss on..Yusaku the BO boss..seriously i wont like that if the end turns out this way..i mean "the son was actually looking for his evil dad..who was always in front of him..but the greatest detective was unable to identify his true identity..
but after giving a look at Shin-chan's post it might be possible ..
Be patient and live with the knowledge that, all you are searching for, is certain to come if you prepare for it and expect it.
It's funny really, if Yusaku is the head, then the organisation prob doesn't know he's the head then. I mean
i think Gin is smart enough to not attack the Head's son, instead have him join the organisation after witnessing how clever he was.

Hahahahahahahahaha!!! *rofl* Good one!! I totally agree hahahahahaha... *slaps knee, laughing so hard she can't breathe*
(I just want to say...I think this theory is as valid as "Yusaku Kudo is the head of the Black Org" and can be mentioned here because someone mentioned Bill Gates *lol* previously...)
Okay, okay. At this point, the ONLY "Boss" identity that would suprise me is:
Haibara's Sister, Akemi. (That's her name, right? I'm so bad with names...)
Yeah, she died in Conan's arms. (That scene was very epic, btw. I can remember it to this day and I'm almost to season five...) BUT if Gosho brings Akai back, then we can put Haibara's sister back on the suspects list.
Yes, she was supposedly a pawn, robbing banks and such to help finance the black org. Maybe she enjoyed living on the edge. Maybe she was testing the loyalty of her people. I have no idea.
"Rediculous!!" you all shout at me. But remember, guys, this is murder mystery series. I know from reading Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: you can never expect the ending. So just pick the most outlandish and unsuspected solution and go with it: you'll probably be right. I'm being completely serious.
BUT! Now that I am thinking really hard about this...as she was dying, Conan told her his real identity. If she really was the Boss, it would all be over for our favorite detective. Unless she was just messing with everyone's minds...{I'm reading a manga right now where the main Bad Guy comes up with rediculously complicated and roundabout plans to destroy the heroes. I only mention it because the same thing could be happening here.}
Long story short...I would be truly suprised if Haibara's sister was the Boss: she's supposed to be dead and Conan told her his real name. But, we will never know until the last page is turned...
Yeh i know, ppl usually come back alive after being shot several times and with a pile of their blood around them
The most likely ones are people that appears several times in the manga/anime and most likely ppl around Conan. I mean making a whole new character up to be the Head at the last minute doesn't seem to be Gosho's style. So Yusaku has a chance to be the head, who knows? maybe Yukiko is the Head

I remember reading about a post on a DC forum that said that Gosho hinted in an interview that BO Boss is somebody Haibara would never expect...
It was my first though. I know it won't happen but it would be so damn awesome heart-breaking that I would die right on the spot and then praise Gosho as a ghost.
One of Haibara's parents is a more logical choice...
I can't see Yusaku as a Boss, just... no. It would completely ruin his character in my eyes.
;so i try to smile like i mean it and let myself let go
cause it's all in the hands of a bitter bitter man;
