I keep going over that, because that scene begs the question, "What is the purpose of that *$&*#& plane!!??!!??"  But Jodie essentially repeats herself after the plane had passed.  She goes on to say that Vermouth's too young to have been the murderer of her parents 20 years ago but the prints match, etc.

Wasn't that put just to heighten the atmosphere?

I saw that, but I could barely believe it. Because if she has all that data, I thought she said it might be enough to finish the drug...?

Unless she's deliberately avoiding the complete cure to keep Shinichi closer to her than Ran. But I get the impression fairly often that she's suppressing her feelings for Ran's sake.

Are the BO and Snake's crew connected? I suspect so, because we have here two highly secretive and clearly both well-connected and well-informed criminal groups (though Snake does strike me as considerably dimmer than the likes of Gin), and it doesn't seem likely they'd want to share uber-mafia turf. Unless there's some kind of underground war going on where they've finally mastered subtle (Snake especially), it's more likely there's some arrangement or connection between them- after all, APTX 4869 most likely has something to do with immortality (Ai said it "wasn't meant to be a poison" and keeps going on about the foolishness of fighting the flow of time) and Pandora supposedly grants immortality and Vermouth is rumoured to be immortal...

But Shinichi doesn't know any of this because he isn't aware of the motive behind Kid's thieving.

Another thing he never seems to figure out is how to shake off Ayumi-chan

As for making the antidote, it wouldn't be easy even with the data because the drug wasn't complete in the first place. Making the antidote is probably just as difficult as making the APTX, and Shiho already started with her parents' work under her.

Oh wow!  I never noticed the disk before!  Either Aoyama is going somewhere with that, or either he forgot he had her keep the disk with all that information on it. 

I guess the theory that Ai is purposely keeping information from Conan for his own sake, as she doesn't want anything to happen to him (or for her own selfish reasons) is pretty plausible.

Pretty plausible? Actually, I'm pretty damn sure that's what Ai has been doing for the entire series since she was introduced.

I personally felt that at times she was withholding information, but not the entire time or for the majority of it.

my guess is......haibara's keeping the info for herself and is making a permanent antidote all for herself then shell kill conan and shell go back to the BO....it turns out she was an undercover agent for them

Updated list, because who looks at the first post anyway?

1. Ran shielded Haibara with her body during the Jodie/Vermouth confrontation, and that Vermouth did not want any harm to come to Ran.  [Jodie and Vermouth know both of the above.  Ran obviously knows what she did, but doesn't know the full story behind the events that took place, and she probably did not notice Vermouth stopping Calvados from shooting her, and Vermouth deliberately shooting around Ran vs. at her.  Haibara probably didn't notice either.  Who knows when Akai showed up, but probably after this, since I bet he'd stop Calvados before the sniping if at all possible.  If Akai's a good guy, that is.]
2. Akai knows about Haibara.  (Shinichi knows that Akai knew Shiho, but he still doesn't know that Akai knows Haibara=Shiho, and therefore knows about the shrinking.)
3. Vermouth is supposedly the Boss' favorite.  [Everyone in the BO knows.]
4. Kaitou Kid's true identities - remember, two different people played the role [Yuusaku knows about the first, and so would easily be able to deduce the second if he hasn't done so already.]
5. Vermouth has some kind of death wish for the organization, and calls Akai and Shinichi her "silver bullets."  [The rest of the organization only knows that the Boss had called Akai the "silver bullet."]
6. Shiho has/had some feelings for him other than just fascination at the results of her experiments.
7. Akai liked to drink Bourbon.  (Even if Akai were still alive, I don't think that's something Akai would tell Conan.) [Jodie, James, and Camel know.  Well, Akai too.]
8. Jodie and Akai were going out before the Dai/Akemi thing came about.  [Jodie, James, Camel, Akai know.]
9. What Chianti and Korn look like. (He may have glimpsed them a little when saving Kogoro, but he couldn't have gotten a very good look at them. He probably doesn't even know their genders.)  [Everyone in the BO knows, and that should include Shiho.]
