As you can see this case is heavily based on dialects, perhaps equivalent to an American texting about "a murder case happened on 2/3/2012 in a building on the first floor" to his British companion, who thought it was on the second floor from the ground and on March 2nd. This is why Heiji is heavily accented in our subs than before :P
Oh how I love the back-and-forth between those two, trolling each other and showing us their smug faces. It has caused a sensational uproar in 2chan too, in a good way.
