A side note regarding the Sera-san part at the end of 647/beginning of 648:
A Japanese male teacher almost always addresses a boy student as "-kun", a girl student as "-san".

after watching this episode, I finally understand the trick. In the manga, it was so hard to understand the trick.

Spoiler:
Sera had darker skin than Ran, her skin is tanned in America right.

And Sera's eye is green like Akai.

You know even Chekhov didn't ruin the "surprise" that quickly.

I didn't ruin the 'surprise' first time either. You anime only peeps were getting slow.... ಠ_ಠ

Assuming you were referring to the Scar Akai is right handed incident, we manga peeps were calling 'Shuuichi' an imposter in the first file to the tune of 85% of 66 people because the burn was on the wrong side of his face, the amnesia didn't make sense, and the whole situation just reeked. The first poster of the last file spoilers pointed it out it was THAT obvious.

Let's put potential solutions in spoiler tags and not force everyone to see them in case they don't want to.

Their similarities were already obvious, now with the anime there shouldn't be an single doubt. Unless you are an fan of crazy theories with no facts to back you up, haha.

Yeah I don't see how anyone should be surprised.

Spoiler:
I probably wouldn't have a clue if it wasn't for Chekhov and freaking Gundam. Oh I hate that stupid naming idea, it just kills any cleverness to it.

Spoiler:
You'd think this way because you've already "cheated" by reading up Gundam and Chekhov's theory, intentionally or not. It's essentially the same as saying a manga-based anime case is stupid because you've already read the manga and it killed any cleverness to the anime adaptation. Without these prior "cheatsheet" information I'm sure you'd agree it's still a clever plot.

This is unfortunate but, like Chekhov once said, you should stay away from her theories and spoilers if you want to fully enjoy the series.

Spoiler:
It isn't that, I just hate the idea that a series tht relies on building mysterious characters for so long would flat out tell you who the character is instead of relying on clever hints. Oh here's some great hints on who this character is and if you're smart you can put it all together to figure out the myserty (oh but I reveal who it is, but don't worry, you can still have the hints). How about for the next case, we spend 5 episodes giving subtle hints who the murderer is, but then name him McKilledAGuy!
