I think I have the first three right, but I am not sure about the last one, someone else who gets the last one will get to post the next question. The list of all the inventions is here:

Which one appeared absolutely only once? The bento fax machine in file 69.

Which one only appeared 3 times? I think it’s the stretchy suspenders. They appeared in file 18, Movie 2, once in ep 128, and one more time which is currently a spoiler so it doesn't count.

Which one became obsolete around the middle of the series so far? The "voice recording pen" that appeared in file 111 made obsolete by the speaker button that appeared in file 110 and the voice changing necktie's speaker mode.

Which one was used only on the episode of its appearance, then only used in movies, but recently made reappearance in the series? This one has me stumped. Whoever gets this one right, please post the next question.
It isn't the voice transforming mask. It was used twice, once while Haibara was dressed as Conan during the school play, once later while Conan was dressed as Haibara to fool Vermouth, and I don’t remember a file where it appeared recently (like the last 100 files). It isn't the earring phone, which is used a few times. It was used by Ran in file 140, again in file 179 by Conan to try to call Agasa, and in the bus jack case. It isn't the button transmitter which is used in a bunch of files related to the black org.
It could be the button speaker first introduced in file 110. Another possibility is the skateboard, but I have a feeling that I'm just forgetting when it's used.

It's been 6 days, so you're going to have to come up with another question since yours didn't get answered. By the way, if you have a list of the files where Conan's gadgets show up, I'd like to have it.

The suspenders did appear in episode 128 in the anime. Check and you will see them: Conan used them as a slingshot to stick a bug on Akemi's car. So the suspenders appeared four (currently 5 counting spoilers times).

The lunchbox (bento) fax machine only appeared in its appearance episode. Gosho said that it wasn't practical enough so he no longer used it.

The suspenders were used in its appearance episode/file (the kids visit the haunted house), movie 2, and anime original (not episode 128, Haibara's appearance) that I do not remember the number (he used it to slow down a bus heading downhills towards a cliff).

The one that became obsolete in the middle of the series is Conan's earring phone, last seen in the bus hijacking incident (I think). Says online that he no longer uses it after having his own cellphone(s) (one for Shinichi and one for Conan).

The last one is of course, his battery-charged skateboard. It no longer appeared in the series after its appearance case where Ayumi was "kidnapped" in the back trunk of a car. Then it was used only in movies, usually for Conan to get to places to investigate by himself without adult interference. However, if you paid attention to file 681, Conan used it to get to Haibara and Dr. Agasa when they thought they were with two dangerous criminals who turned out to be Inspector Yamato and Officer Uehara.

Don't mistake lack of curiosity for not having enough time to trawl through anime episodes and compare them to the manga. I don't normally watch the anime and I also have a fulltime job. If you're worried about this topic going dead, then pick more time-courteous questions.

In the bus hijacking case (vol 29 chap 3) Conan uses a gun to break the window in the manga and a fire extinguisher in the anime version.

ok, for my own trivia: one is the one when Haibara turns back to her old self after following Conan's instructions in the wine cellar, Vodka shot the door's lock to get in (completely deleted in the anime); another is when Conan shot the back window of the bus to rescue Haibara before it exploded (he broke it with his soccer belt and shoe in the anime).

Kind of busy, can't think of a new trivia at the moment. I'll come back later, unless someone post a new trivia before then.
